A lot of parents are concerned about preparing their children for a bright academic future. I have a 2 year old daughter and this has been a major concern for me. I want to make sure that she is prepared for college or any other path that she may choose. The school that she goes to now, engages in a lot of play. It has really helped her create relationships with other children and socialize. As a parent, it is important to do the research on the preschool, but at the end of the day, the parent should choose based on their instinct of what they think would be best for their child. This video was so informative. Preschool can be so expensive and you want to be sure that you're putting your child in the right preschool. I have 2 kids and we tried several different kinds. I like what these experts are saying, that play and flexibility are extremely important. One of my kids (who is gifted and now homeschooled) attended a pretty strict preschool and the results were disastrous.
