Let me ask you this question. Have you ever had a child in your classroom get upset when they didn't get their own way?
If your answer is “yes” (and I’m sure it is), then this episode is for you!
Why is that?
Simply because in it, I’ll be discussing why kids may throw fits when they don't get what they want, how to respond appropriately, and why “You get what you get and you don't throw a fit” is never the right answer.
And to make this even more interesting, I’ve invited a guest! His name is Ron Shuali, and he is simply brilliant.
Ron is a speaker and the bestselling author of Breaking the Bullying Circle. He has expertise in the preschool through middle school arena, which is why he’s the perfect person to discuss this week’s subject with.
Are you ready?
Let’s dive in!
Key Takeaways:

If we as child care providers and parents left our "Ego" at the door when we are raising little ones, our bond will be so much stronger with them. We all function well when we are happy. If we regulate everything they do, they feel pressure. Let kids be their own decision makers, and I am not talking about "career choosing, or buying a house", but simple things... as... where would you like to sit, what would you like to eat your food with, what color of crayons do you want to color with today?... these are just very simple but yet life teaching moments. We gotta let them be their own persona within adult provisions and safety measurements.

Rote counting (verbally counting aloud from 1-20) and counting with 1:1 correspondence are two separate skills. 1:1 counting is a developmental skill that children learn in stages. You may find this info helpful: www.pre-kpages.com/how-to-teach-one-to-one-correspondence/

Hello Madam patience in the child is the key in order for you to captures the child attention for example we can think, create or make a new objects for counting so the child pay attention according to the objects you present to your child. Because having 3 years old child is very challenging. You can try another objects so that your child keep focuses on your teaching. I'm thankful I watched this video it's very informative. ☺️
