I am diving into preschooling with my three year old this fall. My kindergartner is attending a Christian school where my three year old and I will also go two days a week for a two day pre-school program. I teach 4/5 year old Pre-k on those days. I hooe to develoo personal skill and discipljne in my home so that I can manage homeschooling all my children. I am re-evaluating last years curriculun choices. Do you think about extra curricular things for your prek children and plan for outdoor play with something like forest school or gross motor curriculum? l am not sure what homeachooling should look like. Thank you for sharing your curriculum, planning process, philosophy and how you use the curriculum practically! You talk about flow. Is this a philosophy approach you have or could point me to more resources? I really like what you were saying about following the child and their flow of developmental needs!

7 hours 😮 I homeschool my four-year-old and my ten-year-old and we never do more than 3 hours and that's on a bad day when he is taking a very long time to work plus this always includes his violin practice. Usually were closer to 2 hours sometimes less

That is so good. I actually homeschool 4/5 of my kiddos and I have a 7month old. I include breakfast, morning chores, lunch, breaks, our nap time and lots of different types of activities during that time from calendar time to exercise. We also do not do all in one curriculum. Also one on one educational time is different for each age ranging from 1 hour for my 4year old to 4 hours for my 12 year old. But I am in school mode for about 6hours. Homeschool is different for every family and that is the beautiful part about it ❤️
