As a Pole I have tendency to use in both parts of sentence future tense: 'I'll phone you when I'll get home" - because in Polish in both parts of that sentence we use future forms.

Hmmm...not too sure about the accuracy of this 'completion' claim. "I've just eaten a sandwich" expresses a completed action. Perhaps a bit of clarification needed?
