Oh my gosh. It's finally out. I love it!!! I loved it when she made that basketball shot walking away from the basket (her back to the basket). She apparently practiced it and did it without special effects. This is a classic movie (so popular), and she played the role so well. I wish they would make Wynona Ryder as well. Thank you! The Aliens movie (the second one) is the best one in the franchise in my opinion. I managed to get the review on this figure done, but I still haven’t made the final touches yet. Can’t wait to get that done and pose this figure in the cabinet along with the Hot Toys Alien Warrior figure and the eggs. The only other figures from the Alien franchise that I want, is one or two of the marines from Aliens. I know that some company teased a marine a while back, but I forgot the name of the company LOL! Heck if I’m paying the ridiculous prices for one of the marines that Hot Toys released,

@@Eseres80 You are way ahead of me. I never got an Alien figure. This one is super super cool, but the prices are already starting to soar. I think I may try to get a head, and see what I can do. I like the comparisons you do with the other bodies. The S-35 body seems like a great match. I just looked up how tall Sigourney Weaver is. Would you believe she is six feet tall? Wow!!! I knew she was tall, but I didn't know she was that tall. All I know was the the movies were great!!! Thank you for showing this figure!!! 🙂

@ I have been thinking about swapping out the body for a taller one. I’ve seen others do it and it looks good. I’m just worries about the clothes not fitting a taller body. And then there is the matter of keeping the collectible value. If I swap out the body then the figure will no longer fit in the box. It would be a different matter if this was a kit and I didn’t have to keep a box, but thats not the case with this one. And even if I swapped out the body for a taller one then there would be an issue with the head looking too small. I’ll just keep the figure as is.

@@Eseres80 I hear you! I might take a chance and just get the head and see if it works with another body. That way I'm not tied to the value. I really like this actress, and that basketball shot. Oh my gosh. It was quite a deal and made the crew laugh. I wish I could have been on the set to have seen it. Throwing a ball backwards and nailing a swish basket is like the lottery. She must have practiced a bit. LOL 🤗🤗❤🤗🤗

Thanks! Yeah, its not a bad figure in general. I just think that they could have made a slightly better effort to make it better than what it is. How they managed to mess up on the shoes is just stupid in my opinion. Its the only real complaint I have on this figure. Sure, they could have used a bigger body but I don’t really care LOL.

I hope you're feeling well. I saw the head someplace and am debating. The problem is that there are other things that I want, but then again, do I want to pass this up. Sigh. If I get the head, I will use artistic license and not try to mimic the outfit she was sold in from Present Toys. I have to admit I like the longer haired version of Sigourney Weaver though. Yeah, I’m a lot better now. This head isn’t bad. Its just that the overall figure is a bit small. I’m just glad to have the character in my collection. I would have swapped out the body to get a taller figure, but then it wouldn’t fit in the box anymore and the box would become useless to me. I rather keep the figure as is and just live with the fact that it is what it is LOL. I might get a second head sculpt and make a new Ripley at some point, or possibly get one of the marines.

@@Eseres80 I am still debating. I loved her character, and out of all of the figures Hot Toys re-do, I'm not sure why they don't take this one on. I mean they've done Terminator to death and Star Wars . . . why not Alien? I just don't get it and probably never will. Maybe they don't think they'd sell a lot . . . one thing is for sure eventually Present Toys figures sell out. LOL I don't get it. Have a good one today!!! 🤗 🤗 ❤ 🤗 🤗

Yeah, I kind of had some WTF moments with this figure. That right shoe is kind of pissing me off LOL. Overall the figure looks good though. A bit small but I’m just happy to have the Ripley character in my collection.
