In China these type of things are very easy to do even though there are probably laws against it. I assume that since they never went back to using the Phicen brand they probably gave up fighting for it for some reason. Personally I like TBLeague (Tiger Brothers League) way better too.

Its not a bad «tool» to use as a drawing reference. However. They don’t have the same range in articulation as a double jointed body where you can fully bend the knees and elbows. Then again. The double jointed elbows and knees doesn’t really replicate a very natural bend either. There are pros and cons with both of these body types. Personally I prefer the seamless bodies for making figures though. They just look better on display and they just pose better in general.

At this point Im just think that these companies might as well just exclude all and any stands with their figures. We are better off making our own. So far I have been buying the cheapest stands that eBay can provide, but I will stop doing that too once I figure out a good way to make the grabbers without damaging a figure. My latest discovery is to buy some thick wire from the hardware store and just drill a hole into what ever base I make that will fit the wire, and just bend the wire into shape to support the figure. Depending on how I make the base of the stand the wire can be hidden pretty well. That way I can make a decent stand at a far more reasonable cost than buying these overpriced cheap stands.

@@Eseres80 I hear you. When stands average about $4 to $5 a stand and you need X number stands, that really does get old after while, and I do mean old. On the other hand, toy makers aren't doing us favors with their stands whether they are traditional stands or stands that allow you to use stands to get flying poses. I opened a Star Wars figure up for an upcoming episode, and the problems you noted with the metal grate looking stands is even more evident in this stand. Not only do the feet hang over the stand but because the stand is one that can elevate things in the air, if you try to put the thrusters on the jet pack, the only way they are going in are angled. LOL They didn't make the rocket wide enough to clear the attachment. Good Lord . . . what are they thinking? Maybe that's it . . . they're not thinking. LOL 🤗 🤗 ❤ 🤗 🤗

@ As good as most of these figures look in general, a lot of the overall «package deal» seem to be very little thought through in my opinion. The next figure costs more than the previous one, yet there isn’t anything there that really justifies the additional costs compared to the previous figure. The development costs of these stands must have paid themselves off a long time ago by now, and I don’t believe that they cost much to manufacture. They probably have piles of these stands laying around for all I know, and they have no idea what to do with them. I honestly really struggle to see any reason why these figures just keep on getting more and more expensive.

Well, I’m looking at my S34 and the head isn’t much smaller than the average female heads I have on the other females. I have a S39 standing next to my S34 and that head seem to be about the same size and skin tone. The S39 body is a little smaller than the S34, but a thicker body style. As for off-branded head sculpts in general… You will probably need a tan head sculpt. If you’re going for a asian head sculpt then you can get away with a slightly paler head than the body because asian women tend to wear makeup to make their face look paler. On the other hand… We usually get more sun on our faces than on our bodies because we wear clothes for the most part of the year, so a slightly tanner head could work too. I have no particular head sculpt in mind that will fit perfectly for the S34A body other than the one that comes with the S34.

That could work. I recently tried to paint the hair and add eyes to one of these. The head doesn’t come apart no matter how much I tried, so painting the hair wasn’t very easy. I also regret trying to paint the eyes LOL! 1/6th scale is small enough, not to mention 1/12th scale.

@Eseres80 At least you tried. May the next time you try to paint something that teeny work out way better. I might see if there is a head of another toy that looks similar to her then just buy that. But am prepared to try and paint it if needed. Just have to find one.

@ I am going to paint the head on my other Girl figure too. Painting the hair isn’t the most difficult part as long as you make sure to mask the face and ears. It’s the eyes that are a real pain in the butt. I used a toothpick to paint the white, and I used a ink pen for the pupils. Getting both of the pupils right was quite a challenge. Painting the eyelashes was a freakin’ nightmare. The eyebrows were difficult to do because the hair gets in the way. This is why I would have preferred that the head could come apart. However. After carefully inspecting the head I discovered that not only is the hair plugged into the head by two plugs, but the plugs go into the head in slightly different angles as well. On top of that the hair is also glued onto the head. It was impossible to get any tools in between the two parts even after heating the head up. I was also afraid that I could do some damage to the parts if I applied too much force. I tried to find similar heads on eBay at first, but I couldn’t find any with a similar hair style so I gave up. I was also worried that a painted head wouldn’t match the color on the two bodies I have. I just wanted these two figures to have different hair colors, the same outfit but in different colors too, so I only wanted to do work on just their heads. A factory painted head will most likely have a painted skin tone and won’t match the unpainted bodies, and hell if I’m going to start paining their entire bodies LOL!

@yetanotherspuart3993 I don’t get why they glued the parts together on a blank body. I know this particular body is ment as a drawing aid, but people would probably like to customize the thing, including painting it. Good luck finding the clothes you need. There are quite a few 1/12th scale figures on the market now, so you should be able to find something that you can work with 👍

Yeah, the fireworks wasn’t too bad when I was living in that apartment. These later years there have been less fireworks to enjoy due to the restrictions on where you’re allowed to set them off now. Personally I hate the fireworks though. Not because they are loud and scares the crap out of the pets and the wildlife, but because it is insane to set fire to money like that when you think about the fact that some people are poor and probably can’t afford food on the table every day. Ask someone to actually set their money on fire and they’ll look at you as if you were crazy, but they’re more than happy to buy fireworks and set them on fire… It is pure stupidity in my opinion.

I have a couple of Nintendo Game Cube games that aren’t compatible with the european version of the console, and that free loader disc enables the console to run games from other regions in the world. I don’t get why they even bother to put region locks on games and movie discs when you obviously can get some sort of «tool» to bypass them LOL!

@ Most of the games I have was on sale the day I bought them. I used to drop by a store on my way home from school and usually I found a game for about $10-15 bucks every now and then. And with the digitalization back in the day most of the hardcopies of games disappeared from the stores as well. These games went on massive sales just to get them sold. These days everything has to be downloaded and I hate that. I enjoy having the game on the shelf more than having them saved on the game console 😅

I’m starting to get more of those senior moments than I’d like LOL! Yesterday I was standing in my living room wondering what I should do. Right next to the door to my collection room. So I got the idea of maybe getting a figure out of the display and take a couple of photos that I could edit. It took me less than 5 seconds to enter the collection room, yet I could not for the life of me remember why I had walked into that room 😂 I was standing in my collection room for quite a while and did not have a clue to why I was in there LOL. And it is not the first time this have happened to me either. Its like there is something built into the freakin’ doorframe that is erasing your mind LOL! Yeah, I like what Storm Collectibles are doing with these figures too. This particular figure is a great example of how I think a figure should be done. A bunch of hands and a few head options. I’d rather pay extra for having options on the figure itself than having a bunch of accessories that doesn’t make sense with the face expression. Whats the point of having all these energy effect pieces for a figure if the face expression doesn’t look like it goes with the effect piece? Some of the figures out there, as good as they may look, isn’t very well thought through in my opinion. They add a bunch of parts into the packaging just to make the overall package look like a good deal for the money.

@@KoolKollectibles Yeah, I’ve seen him wear the shirt in USF4, but I kind of remember him ripping off the shirt in the beginning of the first round in USF2. Then again. I may be having one of my «moments» again and remember shit that never happened LOL! Who knows… Maybe I drink too much or not enough, I don’t really know at this point LOL.

The sound may be a little lower compared to the intro/outro music. I forgot to raise the volume during the editing, but it sounds good to me if you turn up the volume just a little. There are a couple of times the volume drops while I speak because I am reaching for the art box thats a few feet away though. Other than that it is just me forgetting to raise the overall volume. Is there a particular timestamp you refer to?

@@KoolKollectibles I usually turn the volume on the recordings up a bit during the editing but I forgot to do it this time. I think it’s the second or third time it has happened now LOL. BBTS was supposed to get Blanka in stock in december, but that didn’t happen. I’m even waiting for another figure that was scheduled for release as far back as in october (if it wasn’t september). It’s freakin’ january now and it’s still not in stock. I don’t know why BBTS even bothers with adding the release dates anymore. I’ll probably stop using them if the USF2 line gets shut down because the toylines I’ve been collecting outside of the 1/6th scale stuff are basically all shut down and gone now.

@ They did. Hopefully they complete this USF2 roster though, unlike their MK line. I will follow this USF2 line to its end, but I am not getting into any other toylines from Storm unless they start making MK figures again and completes the UMK3/MKT roster. The only reason why I got into the smaller scaled stuff to begin with was because I was expecting a lot of figures in the series. It really pisses me off that Storm still haven’t gotten the MK license back, and not to mention their complete lack of communication.

It is pretty posable. I thought that the belt would limit the torso articulation a lot, but to my surprise it doesn’t. The outfit in general is very lose fitted. Double jointed knees and I believe the elbows are too. You should be able to get it into some pretty dynamic poses.

I Wonder What His Body Mold Looks Like Without His Outfit? Maybe it’s Accurate to Him in General? Because All I Know is That Altair’s Physique is An Athletic Muscular Lean Build and that he’s 6’0” 170Ibs.

@ I don’t know what the body looks like on the figure. But I’ll tell you this much. Compared to the in-game model all the Damtoys AC figures, the Hot Toys Ezio and that Avior figure by a company I can’t remember the name of, they all look too bulky. The in-game models have a slim body shape. The layers of the outfits makes them look shorter than the in-game models.

Yeah, I’m a lot better now. This head isn’t bad. Its just that the overall figure is a bit small. I’m just glad to have the character in my collection. I would have swapped out the body to get a taller figure, but then it wouldn’t fit in the box anymore and the box would become useless to me. I rather keep the figure as is and just live with the fact that it is what it is LOL. I might get a second head sculpt and make a new Ripley at some point, or possibly get one of the marines.

@@Eseres80 I am still debating. I loved her character, and out of all of the figures Hot Toys re-do, I'm not sure why they don't take this one on. I mean they've done Terminator to death and Star Wars . . . why not Alien? I just don't get it and probably never will. I wouldn’t know. I don’t have the WW figure myself so I can’t say for sure. I recommend that you search for custom WW figures on KZbin and see if anyone have made a body swap and can tell you which body they used.

Thanks 😅 I used to play and collect a lot of games back when I was a kid. The older consoles were usually put away when I got a new one, so the games just ended up on a shelf. I don’t play much games anymore now though, and I have considered selling the consoles and the games, but some of these games have a high sentimental value to me and are hard to part with. I was also very picky about the games I got into and I never bought random games without knowing anything about them first. Thats why I only have games that I consider to be very good, as well as various series of games. Most of my games I like because they have some very great gameplay, but there are some that stand out due to having a very great story as well. The Last Of Us is one of those games, and thats why it is my favorite. Series like Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat and Assassin’s Creed are some of my top ranked series as well. I also love the Oblivion and Skyrim games from the Elder Scrolls series due to their massive open world areas and the customization of the characters and equipments. Playing those games are almost like living another life. These days the games are mostly shelf occupants though LOL! I want to get a new Playstation 3 because there is something wrong with my old ones. Games that used to work just fine before are now lagging like crazy and they are impossible to play. Even the gamepads are misbehaving and makes the control sticks suddenly move on their own, so it’s really not fun to play anymore.

@@Eseres80 That's the problem . . . I have old Tour of Duty games, but I can't play them. I have nothing to put them in to play. They were meant for a computer. I absolutely hate that!!! I know I checked out Lara Croft because of the figure you showed, and the one game I tried (2013) version I love to death. I need to go to the next one. I don't think it is the most recent one you described, which I don't think I would enjoy . . . more like in a city and fewer puzzles. I know I will try the first Last of Us eventually, and because I have some of the figures I know I will try Resident Evil. I just need to make time. These bodies are superb for characters that shows a lot of skin, such as a Tarzan for example. But I also like how the clothes rests on these bodies. There is friction that allows for folds and you can sometimes get the musculature to show through the clothes as well. The one thing I like a lot with the added «sausage and meatballs» is the fact that they «fill out» the pants! With the other bodies you have to stuff the pants with something else LOL! A male character should have that bulge going on (not for bragging rights🙄😂) in my opinion. Oh, my… The hands! The dreadful hands! Sometimes they won’t stay on and sometimes you just can’t get those freakin’ things off. I have busted wrist pegs due to the connection being too strong even when I have used hot water. They should use a softer material for the hands. Some companies do that, but when the hand is made of just as hard plastic as the wrist pegs then you’ll just stretch the peg out and it becomes useless or snaps. What bothers me the most is that every company seems to want to have their own standards when it comes to these wrist pegs and hands. Like they don’t want you to use the parts on another body or something. It sucks! I hate it when I have to modify something just to be able to use it on a body. As far as shoes goes… Don’t you freakin’ hate it when they mold a peg into a shoe instead of just making a hole? This is why I prefer hollowed out shoes instead of the solid ones. I hate spending money on a pair of shoes that I have to basically «ruin» just to make them fit a body. These bodies usually comes with feet anyway, so I’d rather spend some extra money on a pair of fabric shoes where a foot can fit into them. For me, when it comes to bodies I prefer the TBLeague ones. Even if I am going to fully cover it up I will chose a TBLeague. But the thing that upsets me with TBLeague is that they don’t provide enough hand options with their base bodies. They should come with at least the hands to hold guns and knifes, closed fists/open palm for both left and right side. But thats not enough in my opinion. There should be flat hands for like pushing against a wall/floor, hands for holding a glass/cup or something. Hand gestures that you normally use in real life. These bodies should come with at least like 8-10 pairs of hands in my opinion. Another option would be for TBLeague to manufacture separate packs with various hand gestures that would match the skin tone on their various bodies. I think that is an idea that no company have yet thought of. We are usually stuck with the boring relaxed hands and the gun holding hands. We get a knife/staff holding hand if we are lucky. Like we are all creating just gunslingers, sword fighters and brawlers. What if we want to make some fitness figure doing pushups? Or some dude pushing a huge box or something? The current hand gestures end up looking stupid. I have a pair of posable hands but they’ve got a bunch of holes in them to let air out, not to mention that they are way too flat at the wrist section. They just look ugly without any gloves on, which are a pain in the put to get on them by the way. But at least you’ve got options as far as gestures goes with them. I just keep thinking why someone can't make a dog gone pair of hands that go on fairly eascn whenxze-pose things (instead of fall off), move easily when you try to put a weapon in the hand, and come off nicely. I agree with you . . . If they could only make them more flexible I think that would go a long way. Sometimes I try to put a weapon in a hand, and I can't even do that. It's just too hard (immoveable). I have to use hot water. They used to have bendy hands as you noted above. I thought I would like them, but they never looked very normal. A variety of hands would be more treasured than tons and tons of weapons fro my perspective. The feet can be problematic too. Getting hollowed out boots or shoes on can be a pain and sometimes the shoes or boots are even too small to get on the feet of a particular body. It doesn't matter how much hot water you use; they just won't fit. I didn't like the pegged boots or shoes before, but now I favor those immensely. I never thought of having someone doing a push up. LOL That would be cool. Sometimes I would love to pose a figure with arms folded, but that all depends on articulation. Sometimes you just can't do it. There's just not enough articulation. Trust me, the symbol is there LOL. You can see half of it. On this one the bottom part of the symbol is red. If you look at for example the one thats called Starscream then the bottom half is purple. Yeah, the good guys always turn into cars for the most part. I do have one good guy that turns into a spaceship/plane, and there are also a few of the good guys that turns into dinosaurs, but I don’t have any of those though. This guy in this video can catch you off guard though. He turns into a sports car, but he can also turn into some sort of plane LOL!

If the thumbnail has a red symbol on it, then it is usually some sort of car LOL. There is one more recent one, a huge one, that would have you guessing though, because he turns into a huge plane LOL. Never did a video on him either because I stopped doing these videos a long time ago now. I’ve been thinking about making a sort of «end of collection» video for these particular figures, but it is sort of uncertain if the line is done or not. Some say that the toyline as we know it is finished and that the company is taking it in a new direction, while others say that it isn’t done and that they’ve just made some changes to the brand. None the less. There haven’t been announced any new figures lately that I want anyway.

You are correct again 😅👍 This was the first version of this character. A new version was released a couple of years ago but I never made any videos of the newer ones. So when you are done quessing all of the ones I have uploaded then the guessing game is truly over LOL.

These figures were actually pretty good. What killed this line is all the various repaints they made. They made 6 different figures that got about 3 repaints each. The collectors only wanted one representation of a character and this resulted in Mezco wasting their budget on figures nobody wanted. On top of that Mezco had the nerves to blame the customers for the fall of this line because they didn’t buy the repaints. I really liked these figures but I ended up giving them away since the line got shut down. I feel like I’m done with the smaller scaled figures now to be honest. I certainly won’t get into anymore series of figures, but I may get the individual figures if I really like them. I’m going back to only collecting 1/6th scale now.

Yeah, that is something I like about them too. I also like that they have various shaped bodies. Most of the hard plastic bodies are basically just a mannequin shape with no real definition to speak of.

I think these bodies are the best on the market to this date. I don’t want to use any other bodies unless I really have to. You are right! They have this one weakness concerning the staining risk. However. I feel like its such a known fact by now that it should be fairly easy to avoid staining them. You can wrapt the up with cling foil and/or wash the outfits properly. In the end the clothes sit better on these bodies and you don’t get the square shaped knees and elbows like you do with the double jointed bodies. At this point I actually feel like the head sculpts are falling behind in terms of esthetics goes. This is why I try to get those head sculpts with movable eyes. The only thing missing now is the ability to change the face expressions. Some figures have that option, but at this point I feel like it should be a standard thing. Same with the movable eyes. It should be standard by now.

@@Eseres80 You're right. We haven't seen a push forward to make things better in a LONG time. The heads are kind of so so depending on who is making them, and even Hot Toys can't seem to get some heads right like Loki. The one they have on preorder right now is the best one I've seen of him (God Loki). Other than that I have not been impressed. The interesting thing is that it wasn't Hot Toys that came up with seamless bodies; it is TBLeague. I think Hot Toys is just doing the same thing over and over again. They focus on the head and clothes . . . period. No unique advances other than the painting and sculpturing of the head sculpts. It's sad really. 😞

@ Exactly! Hot Toys are still stuck on the old bodies. I see a few other companies starting to make more and more head sculpts with movable eyes now, so that is a good thing. I just wish that TBLeague would start focusing more on the head sculpts. At the very least they could start making heads with movable eyes, but even that idea is kind of «old» at this point. Even the face swapping gimmick for different face expressions is old news at this point. I have a 1/1 scale doll with a silicone «skinned» head and movable jaw, and I don’t see why that idea can’t be transferred to 1/6th scale. Not only would the silicone material allow for a movable jaw, but I also think that the head and body would match better. On my 1/1 scale doll you can’t tell the difference between the head and body surface. There is only a visible seam line at the neck for obvious reasons. The 1/6th scale companies need to make advancements in the head sculpt department.

@@Eseres80 Moveable jaw? Wow. I haven't seen that yet. So many advancements, I am sure, are possible. No one is thinking outside of the box anymore sadly. The only Hot Toys can do is create good head sculpts, but not at the prices they are asking for now. I can't keep doing that anymore. It's really beyond reason in terms of pricing these days. @ Yes. It is on a much larger scaled doll though, but I see no reason why it wouldn’t work in 1/6th scale. Even if the jaw isn’t posable in 1/6th scale, I still think there at the very least should be a face swapping gimmick. Some companies that make posable eyes heads usually have the hair piece separate, so adding extra faces with different expressions shouldn’t be a problem.

Thank you! The Aliens movie (the second one) is the best one in the franchise in my opinion. I managed to get the review on this figure done, but I still haven’t made the final touches yet. Can’t wait to get that done and pose this figure in the cabinet along with the Hot Toys Alien Warrior figure and the eggs. The only other figures from the Alien franchise that I want, is one or two of the marines from Aliens. I know that some company teased a marine a while back, but I forgot the name of the company LOL! @@Eseres80 You are way ahead of me. I never got an Alien figure. This one is super super cool, but the prices are already starting to soar. I think I may try to get a head, and see what I can do. I like the comparisons you do with the other bodies. The S-35 body seems like a great match. I just looked up how tall Sigourney Weaver is. Would you believe she is six feet tall? Wow!!! I knew she was tall, but I didn't know she was that tall. All I know was the the movies were great!!! Thank you for showing this figure!!! 🙂

@ I have been thinking about swapping out the body for a taller one. I’ve seen others do it and it looks good. I’m just worries about the clothes not fitting a taller body. And then there is the matter of keeping the collectible value. If I swap out the body then the figure will no longer fit in the box. It would be a different matter if this was a kit and I didn’t have to keep a box, but thats not the case with this one. And even if I swapped out the body for a taller one then there would be an issue with the head looking too small. I’ll just keep the figure as is.

This one is pretty cool. I love that concept art sports car look. The plan was to make a video like this for all of my Transformers figures and end it with a proper video once the toyline was complete. However. Due to some of them becoming to complicated to transform back and forth, as well as looking a bit fragile I decided to stop making the videos on them. It was also a whole lot of work involved with taking the photos and it became a challenge to fit all the photos within the timeframe of the soundtrack. I would have used music in my videos and made videos more often on posing and such if it wasn’t for the copyright infringement. I didn’t want to risk getting my channel deleted or put too much work in a video that could be taken down by KZbin either. Besides. Due to the copyrights there were some countries where the sound was muted as well. KZbin and all the complicates crap these later years made it hard to do anything with using music. It doesn’t matter if you state all the copyright info and what not. In some countries the music will just be muted. I even had a soundtrack that I personally made myself get a copyright strike in a video. Why KZbin did that is beyond me. It was a completely original soundtrack made by me, yet the video still got deleted.

@@Eseres80 Dog gone it. I didn't know that about the music. The only good thing on my side is that I can play music I created. I do some keyboard and some guitar. I can understand why copyright is important, but this does place a ton of limits on creativity, and you really make these videos interesting with this music. I love this song tons. I mean if you give credit, it should not be an issue from my perspective. In addition, I see so much football podcasts . . . I don't know how they get away with showing video of football plays then. I guess maybe it's turn a blind eye to some stuff but not others. It doesn't seem fair though. 😞

@ You can still use music in your videos as long as you credit the copyright holders in the video and in the video description. However! If you use advertisements on your channel you will lose the income for the videos you use copyrighted music in. In certain countries the music may result in your videos getting muted though. But I don’t get why KZbin removed one video I did where I had made my own music. I didn’t file a complaint at the time, but maybe I should have.

Yeah, I kind of had some WTF moments with this figure. That right shoe is kind of pissing me off LOL. Overall the figure looks good though. A bit small but I’m just happy to have the Ripley character in my collection.

Yes, this one is pretty cool indeed. Not my most favorite one, but it is a cool robot. I like the ones that turn into vehicles a lot better though. These transformers figures are pretty fun to mess with, but I don’t dare handling these masterpiece figure too much LOL.

@@Eseres80 I think I like this one better than the vehicles probably because I like weapons like my husband, and even though it is a lazer it is cool looking and has the appearance of a gun. (big smile) I would never shoot an animal . . . I probably said that before, but if anyone broke into our house and tried to harm one of my fur babies, I would definitely protect my babies. 🙂My life is full of contradictions . . . love weapons . . . dislike destruction . . . on an on. We are all so complicated. Like I said before, even shooting that deer in Lara Croft traumatized me. I won't kill most spiders. @UndergroundActionFigures I think the reason why I don’t like the ones that turns into guns as much as those that turn into vehicles is because the guns, as well as that one that turns into a walkman, they look so out of place amongst all the planes and cars LOL. Other than that I love weapons too. Not when they are used to commit crimes though. I also love edged weapons. Spiders and creepy crawlers I just hate with such a passion. If it got more than four legs then someone is in big trouble. They better stay at the minimum distance, which means not in my house or touching me LOL.

Thanks! Yeah, its not a bad figure in general. I just think that they could have made a slightly better effort to make it better than what it is. How they managed to mess up on the shoes is just stupid in my opinion. Its the only real complaint I have on this figure. Sure, they could have used a bigger body but I don’t really care LOL.

Thank you! Using is a nice way to avoid having to talk in a video LOL. Besides, using music also brings a bit of atmosphere to the video as well. If I had more time to shoot the collection update videos I would try to make more out of it, but the truth is that I just want them done and over with as fast as possible LOL.

This is the original version of this character from the Mortal Kombat games. His first appearance was in the MK2 game. The figure was made by the same company (Storm Collectibles) as the previous one you’ve seen. He is about the same size, maybe slightly smaller. Well, to be completely honest with I think you’d find the games a bit too violent and gory for your taste LOL. The whole idea of the MK games are based on senseless violence. You would probably like watching the story mode gameplay of the games, but actual gameplay with all the ways you can destroy your opponents? Probably not so much LOL. Some of the ways they kill each other are so ridiculously violent that they’ll leave you speechless. But the games have some pretty awesome character designs though, which made me fall in love with the games.

@@Eseres80 Okay, the way you describe the game it's definitely a no-go for me. I had trouble killing that deer in the Tomb Raider Croft game. I mean it traumatized me, and I knew it wasn't real. Sigh. The attacking wolves . . . no problem, but a deer or a rabbit. Nope. I'm going to pass on Mortal Kombat. 🤪

To «The Husband». Thanks! This was my first attempt at ever making a bed LOL. I kind of winged the measurements on this thing when I made it. I just slapped a figure on a piece of paper and drew a rectangle around it and said to myself; «Yes, that will do!», and then I worked with the tools and materials I had at hand at the time LOL! Its not easy to make these things when you don’t have the proper tools, thats for dang sure! As for «me» (LOL), thanks (again). I would love to make more 1/6th scale furniture but it sucks to be restricted by the tools I have. I’ve seen so many tutorials on how to make this kind of stuff, but its not easy when you don’t have the tool. I want to make a sofa and a coffee table, some cabinets and things like that for my «apartment» shelf diorama setup. It looks so empty without any furnitures in it and I am tired of photoshopping these things into the pictures. Would be so much easier if I had the proper… uh… props LOL. If I had the space (and not to mention the tools) for it, then I would try to make a full 1/6th scale apartment/house, or at least a cross section of it.

Can’t argue with you on that one. I loved the comic back when I was a kid. Probably not old enough to read them back then but I did it anyway LOL. I think they did good on this Vampirella figure. This is the asian version, but there was one with a more european face as well. I like the asian version better though. Lady Death is a great figure, but I think my award for the best TBLeague figure goes to the Imperial Guardian. I love her armor. But with that said! I think the TBLeague figures in general are pure masterpieces in my book. I really don’t care about the Hot Toys «realistic likeness» and all that. For me it is the details on the figures, and not how much they look like some actor/actress. Yeah, never eat the bag of candies LOL!

I just had to have this figure when I saw it LOL. It is more like a fantasy version of a cowgirl, but it looks good! The bra staying on is definitely depending on the pose LOL! The one thing that I think is absolutely fantastic about this particular figure is how the stand works. There are holes in the boots so there are no need for a pole/grabber. I think that is pretty clever. The only real «complaint» I have with this figure is that I feel that it needs a trench coat. I mean… I love the lightly dressed women, but a trench coat would have added to the western look.

@@Eseres80 A lot of the Kotobukiya figures has that setup, and I love it. No ugly stand in the way. Of course they are statues and have nice poses built in already so there is no need for a stand. I've never seen that set up with 1/6 scale articulated figures, but that's not a bad idea at all. She is very good looking though!!! I do love TBLeague because at least they do a ton of female figures. Hot Toys is more selective regarding the female figures they choose. All I can say is thank you to TBLeague for putting a number of awesome female figures out there!!! 👍🏼🤗🤪

@ I think that this figure and the Lady Death figure are the only two 1/6th scale figures I’ve ever seen this being done on. On the Lady Death figure they used smaller pegs though, but it works. However. It kind of limits how you can pose the figure a bit.

@@Eseres80 Yes, it would limit posing it . . . which means you have to find a way to pose it so it looks really good with the feet in fixed places. I suppose the only way around that is to have several pegs in the stand to uncover. I don't think many toy makers would do that though because you would have to have a rock or something that could be put on the pegs not used. That would be too much work is my guess. ☹

@ There are like 5 pegs or so on these stands where you can put the rod and they are all the same size which is nice. Depending on the pose you can also use just the base part for just one foot too, but I prefer to peg in both feet just to be safe. The company InArts did something clever with the stands. They use magnets! No rod or pegs. Just the magnets. It keeps the figure standing well enough judging by what I’ve seen. However. In my opinion the perfect stand does still not exist. Having a hole in the feet is not very optimal. It looks ugly if you pose a figure and you can see under the foot. I have ideas on how to make the stand less eye soaring, but there will always be some sort of sacrifice.

Thanks! Yes, this is a very beautiful figure indeed. I had no idea that she was a character from a James Bond movie at the time I was ordering it. I just thought it was a nice looking figure LOL. Not much of a James Bond fan, but this is a very beautiful standalone figure too. As usual I saw a set of boobies so I just had to have it 🙄 What can I say? Boobies are my weak spot. I just can’t help it LOL!

This is old news by now though. Honestly I kind of like the «TBLeague» name better than the old «Phicen». I think they were actually trying to get the old name back, but its been years now so I think they’re just keeping the new name.

This is the version of him in the 11th Mortal Kombat game. All the characters started to get more individual looks once they started doing the games in 3D. The other MK Sub-Zero figures from Storm (masked and unmasked versions) are actually two different people. The unmasked version (Kuai Liang) is the brother of the masked version (Bi-Han). The name «Sub-Zero» is sort of a mantle that is passed down within their clan (Lin Kuei). I don’t get why they just didn’t put the stand in the packaging just like they did with the accessories and the figure. No need of gluing it onto the background cardboard. Sometimes these companies just makes stupid choises LOL. I really like the outfit too. This would have looked so awesome in 1/6th scale and in fabrics. The small scale and the materials just isn’t a very good idea, in my opinion. Especially considering the designs and details. I really hate it when they only do things halfway. This is yet another line that I would have loved to see finished.

No wonder that you think that you’ve seen this character before LOL. This is the «proper» version of this character (Scorpion) in this line of 1/12th scale Mortal Kombat figures. In this particular MK game there are 7 ninjas just like this one, but they are all in different colors. Storm Collectibles managed to release 3 of them (Scorpion, Sub-Zero and Reptile) before they stopped, and they teased one more (Noob Saibot) but they never released him. I have 4 versions of this Scorpion character now. 2 in 1/6th scale and 2 in 1/12th scale. The skull shaped mask is actually the mask he has in the character selection screen in the game, and the other mask is what he has in the game when you are playing with this character. Not sure why they didn’t give him the skull mask for the in-game character though. Another thing they didn’t give this figure was the actual skull head, so I purchased a couple of skeleton figures just to use the head from one of them for Scorpion, and the other skeleton as a fatality victim for his killing move.

​@@Eseres80 I don't know about you, but it baffles me if someone is going to make a figure, why don't they get the license for all the important figures as a set deal? That should be the standard process, but I get it that everyone wants to make money. I just don't like it. Also, if you do get the license, you should make the complete figure. I have noticed, with many of your figures, they have more than one head and tons of hands so adding a skeleton complete head, shouldn't have been that hard. It's disheartening really because I do know I appreciate a complete set of figures even if I don't get them all. 🤗 🤗 ❤ 🤗 🤗

@ The details with a license tend to vary depending on the company and the brand. Storm Collectibles have gotten licenses in the past that covers the rights to make figures from any game that a company have made. However. In the case of Mortal Kombat they got the license for making any MK character within a few of the games, and not just one game in particular. When someone makes a figure of a character I think that it is important to nail at the very least that characters signature detail. In the case of Scorpion that skull head is pretty significant if you ask me. They did include a huge axe for the figure, which you by the way can only see while he does a combo move in the game. The axe isn’t a particular move or anything. It is simply just a detail that shows as you are doing something else. The skull head on the other hand is a part of his signature finishing move and also a detail that is very character spesific. So missing out on that particular detail is a huge mistake. I don’t really mind if a company only makes one or two characters from a series. I am completely fine with that. BUT! When a company makes figure after figure and goes through half of the characters in a game, then I sort of expect them to do the other half as well. However! Storm Collectibles wasn’t the ones that decided to quit making these figures on their own. That was a decision made by the license owners. The company that owns the company that owns the property rights changed owners, which put all the MK licenses on hold during the transfer of the ownership of the mother company. But those «issues» are now solved. Its up to Storm Collectibles to renegotiate the terms of the license to get back into the game again. From what I have heard there are still no company out there that has gotten the license to make any MK action figures again. So far I have only seen a company announce the release of a MK statue, which appearantly works under different licensing terms.

The bow and arrows are the only weapon that actually makes any sense to me with this figure. The trident is too huge for such a character to drag around, while the sword, just like the trident is close range weapon. The enemies would have turned to stone long before she could do any damage with those weapons. With that said! Given Medusas ability to turn who ever that looks at her into stone, why does she even need any weapons? Her snake body more or less already suggests that she is a crawling type of character. She can’t move very fast while standing upright (I would presume). So she have to depend on sneaking around while crawling along the ground and catch her enemies by surprise, thus making any type of weapons just a thing thats getting in her way. It would be a much better accessory for this figure to have one or two extra heads with different face expressions, but thats just my humble opinion though. Then again, I may just be overthinking the whole thing LOL. Medusa has various appearances in the old mythologies. In some of the versions of her she even has legs and wings, which then it would make more sense for her to actually carry any weapons.

Thanks! The floor looks great on camera, but it is not very even LOL. If I could afford it then I would have ripped it all up and fixed it. I don’t know what they were thinking when they did the work on this apartment. There is not one single corner in the whole apartment that is 90 degrees. You can not put anything in the corners without it looking weird LOL. Yeah, I am still living in this apartment. It has a good amount of space for just one person, though it is a three bedroom apartment. Everything is less than a 10 minute walk away, so there is no need for a car for me. After moving 4 times and the collection just kept on growing I had to buy my own place. Couldn’t handle renting and moving anymore LOL.

Yeah, it would be so much better if money grew on a tree. That way we wouldn’t have to work LOL. Sometimes I wish that I was good enough at making custom figures so that I could sell my creations and make some money on them. Sadly thats not the case. I just bought this 1/12th scale figure out of pure curiosity and I must say that I am impressed! It is almost as posable as the 1/6th versions, and they are a nice scale for a desktop figure to have fun with. I just need to get some sort of costume for it. The prices on the figures and accessories these days are insane! At this point I think I will just stick to making custom figures. I have a few new figures coming my way soon. Though they are all delayed already, I really hope that none of them gets released until next year LOL. With the insane increase in prices on the figures I am glad that I am somewhat creative enough to venture into things like props and dioramas for the figures. At least the hobby won’t come to a complete stop if I end up being unable to buy new figures in the future. By now I have quite a few custom figures that I can continue improving on and make custom dioramas or props for. Luckily a couple of the other toylines I used to collect has ended, so there isn’t like I have to skip on a figure and end up with a gap in any of the series I collect.
