I believe there is an alternate ending to this game where: (SPOILER) You choose to leave at the opportunity you’re given; you escape to the outside. Charlotte’s bakery is right next to your ‘prison’. You enter to see a final letter from Charlotte talking about how she couldn’t make it any longer, and committed su!cide in the back room so you wouldn’t have to see. She also apologises for her actions. The game ends there. From the looks of it, everyone died. You are alone.
