It also give players a blank slate to paint their own design on them too which is neat, if they don’t want the vintage stripes. No offence to the stripes, they are iconic, but sometimes a bit too much if you’re not playing van halen I guess

I'm just now getting into higher end guitars, and man, this really has me tempted. I'm not a big strat guy, but with a floyd rose, d-tuna, that 12-16" compound radius(Huge plus for me), a Modern-C shape, and that hot ass pup, it's really making me tempted.

Exactly, 3:16-3:22 is a neck pickup 😂 They must’ve used a different guitar, bizarre. Would be great if it had a working neck pickup and 3 way.

I have the white one, the pickup is fully functioning, you only need to wire it. It sounds beautifully.

I thought that it would of been a good idea to instead of offering these 3 colors! To offer 2 guitars! Since it is about heritage to the frankenstrat ! Offer 2 guitars that what the frankenstrat was before what it was to come ! In its actual form! A swamp ash body / unpainted with a black pick guard! I believe he played it like that in its earliest form! The 2nd would be black because I believe he tried to replicate claptons ( blackie with a white pick guard! If my memory serves correct ! I believe that was the phase it went in with the historical Frankenstein path that it became! I just kinda thought that would be more appealing to a historical and maybe a merchandise sales! The Squire version of these guitars should be the 1st version of the Frankenstein with the full black pickguard and original fender bridge. Same solid colors with no stripes. I'm tired of Hello Kitty being the only single pickup Strat style guitar

Loved Eddie, his music, and his guitar creations! However, I’ve never understood the relic ‘thing’ and it’s been done by many builders. Why would I want to spend money to buy a new guitar that looks like it’s been beat up? I guess they think it gives the guitar ‘cred’, but it’s fake cred, and that’s the problem. Give us natural, or cool colors and finishes, please.

the neck better be God-like because paying 2000 USD-ish for a guitar which was built by Eddie when he could not afford a new guitar is quite the cash grab , plus the floyd rose 1000 can be bought for 80 USD from the Indonesian factory outlets so it is quite the cash grab.....but who knows the neck might be worth the mone

Couldn't agree more. Would be almost perfect with an installed 3way and legit neck pickup. ....and just leave the middle position empty. I guess that would be easy enough to mod, but still......
