With the crit bag changes and the regained life on round 8 I think ranger early game feels a little better this patch, very nice. Makes early losses to reaper feel a little less bad at least.

I feel like having 3 or 4 mana orbs for most builds helps so much. Just being able to reach +7 empower is insanely strong. I've seen 1 mana orb activation reach 3 empower alone because they're random. It stacks so fast if you focus on mana gain.

Yeah instantly after update started to stack Mana Orbs, they are crazy OP in late game. It works even with some other mana consuming items like Crown. I'd decrease number of buffs from 15 to 5 balance it...it's just 6g small item. 48:50 Shields

"I wish I could see how much I healed" That would be how much they damaged - how much life you're missing. You won't see it broken down by source but you can see what you healed.

Exactly, he healed all the damage that opponent did, I often keep track of that on my healing/sustain builds just for my own reference haha

I did a hammer and poison/vamp daggers build with a blood goobert as ranger yesterday and it just deleted everyone. Not sure if it was an outlier, but it’s the first time I’ve been able to make that build work. Low Diamond.

Lamp as a base 2 second trigger for mana orb seems like huge synergy for this build, whether you actually use the lamp buff of not. Unlike a weapon it won’t stam out once you’re fast asf boi from all the heat generated

you should do a video on magic torch + bow. ive been running it and it's super good. you can run whelp/second bow to take advantage of the second scaling slot on torch, you can run ribsaw if you get enough stam pots to hard counter bloodthorne users, steel goob for even more scaling, even manathirst with vamp gloves. and late game you just spam books (or holy crowns)to roll everyone since its a low mana cost build.

My new favorite combo is dijin lamp with magic torch and falcon blade while using mana orb to get the buffs

this build is absolutely busted with the djinn lamp. you can proc lamp with boots since it gives you just enough armor to trigger the lamp. paired with bloodthorne, the lamps also trigger the mana orb super quick. blueberries also start giving you luck at 10+ mana so you never have crit issues. the only counter to this build is crowns and cap of discomfort. whichever bag has more caps will absolutely win.

I expected to see you make the Lucky Pig to boost your first mana orb. I'm going to try that to see if it makes a diff. You can always put the pig at the end of the chain of mana orbs.

I think chonks, lamps and birds for activation, manathirst(s) and leaf for passive with an option for bigsword? Also the purse top right into flip garlic for the extra activation drove me nuts.. ngl

I ran a vamp goobert torch/falcon combo earlier today that destroyed a 5 mana orb double manathirst. Only loss was to a holy spear/armor/shield build.

If you want to understand how much you heal, take your total health. Substrat all damages dealt to you and add it to how much life you have left. So imagine you start with 200 health and end the round with 150. You took 150 damages: 200-150 = 50 You remove it from total health left 150-50 = 100 So you healed for 100.

I would just add up all the damage i took and substract my current health is a lot simpler

Try multiple pigs - it's crazy how much HP you get ... yesterday I saw someone with 9 in his backpack and they've won :D Can't remember what weapon they were playing or what profession they've went to but it was crazy! lasted 8 sec or something like that

One thing you can do is try something a little different, I like running mana torch+falcon blade+holy spear to do insane damage

I think bloodthorne is better then manathirst here. Constant supply of extra Regen spikes and vampire from orbs is so good

For that last fight if he had a Bloodthrone instead it would of roughly done more than double the damage his Manathirst did. On paper that would make it better, and that double damage doesn't include the spikes damage either. Although you do have to watch out for the fact that Bloodthrone needs 3 times the stamina per swing and has a slower cooldown than Manathirst making it a lot harder to say what's strictly better.

I feel like you have way better luck on shops than i do. Like i'll never see gooberts or mana orbs or tusks sometimes. But i like that we're getting more mana builds.

As a reaper main this game feels and has been feeling so unbalanced towards rangers. Leaf makes for the most op bloodthorne builds - now this as well, arrow is always good and default item if you don’t have a build and spiky leaf was literally op then got nerfed. It feels like a reaper can never win with cards, can’t win with poison or fatigue because games don’t last and vampirism is a joke. I’m genuinly curious about % of ranger/reaper at diamond+ elo

in higher elo you find more reapers (just a feeling by seeing my enemies at least before this patch), I hit grandmaster with reaper last week , now mid master again

Because its never just one "build". Imagine Rock, Paper, scissors. You chose Rock. Wouldn't it be cool to have a "scissors" pet that helps you cut the Paper?

@@cristiang4774 he doesn't play master/grandmaster level (cause of fun), but yeah after this patch rangers got buffed, so more rangers now, actually a lot more you're right, last week reaper was very good
