Imo pres hasn’t ever been bad, they are just more communication intensive than other healers. Most of their weaknesses are stuff like people not being grouped or people wasting defensives seeing their health get low only for pres to full heal them in one global. They are really hard to play in group finder but with a coordinated group their healing profile is really strong in most dungeons

yea but it still sucks to drop all the dps talents to be able to heal a dungeon if you're pushing keys... probably the weakest dps healer on pushing keys, need to give up so much to be able to heal, and still strugle with hps

@@justinh826 38 3.5k+ Pres in the world, 1,160 Mistweavers 3.5k+ in the world. I wouldn't say they're bad but very under tuned output. If you hard agree then are you saying there shouldn't be a tuning pass for pres?

HOLY SHIT YES LIFESPARK POG. Losing that felt SO bad. Like on a cast by cast basis it wasn't so bad, but I could notice the absence of it and it added up over time to really feeling the loss. De-programming the instant cast anticipation from my muscle memory was a painful process.

I think Pres is so cool but I freaking hate playing it in keys with any range dps. Having to hit everyone with dream breath or someone dies is just not fun gameplay given the fact that range dps rarely stay close enough to be in range of you.

Very that. And the randoms in pug keys don't listen to think "I need to be in range of this one specific healers limited range" compared to other healers 40 yard range.

The nerf to Spiritbloom will be a big problem going forward. It was the best oh-shtt button, like a Walmart Sheilun.

They just need to remove the range requirement. Bump us to 40 yards like the other healers - the gimmick was cute at first but now it's just annoying - especially when you play multiple healers and have to completely readjust.

Its kind of crazy to me how much more impactful and interesting the preservation hero trees are compared to resto druid. Evoker is looking great!

I mained Pres for Most of S3 - but I got SUPER tired of/tiled by the range/cone nonsense by the time my guild had AOTC and heroic on farm.

I honestly love pres even now however as a pug healer I got so bored of putting in so much effort to get average results, whether it’s range/aiming issues or length of cast issues it’s just so unforgiving to heal as pres in a pug and when stuff goes tits up we get the blame. If however it became op if played correctly or they fixed the range issues I’d maybe go back.

@@tobiyt3414 I personally would say players being out of range of your healing spells is an issue for a healer. TA and DB are more of an issue for pugs but range still is an issue… I mean, do you just think they set evoker at a different range for no reason? If range didn’t matter everyone would have infinite range. People on this platform are so irritating, I mean, what even is your problem? Picking a fight over something that doesn’t fucking matter at all in life and you’re wrong? Get a girlfriend.

@@sihi5634 Evoker has that range or else he would be too broken ond thing thats really annyoing is the Dispell range and devestation its like unplayable but on press i dont feel like its Annyoing only dispell

@@sihi5634 Buddy he said 8 words and you gave a short essay, chill. The spec has no range issues outside of giga zug groups with bm hunters sitting in narnia. Most range dps sit close as travel time on spells can mess up procs and cause some munching.

I really like supports and I'm hoping we get more specs that work like Aug. I have no idea why people wouldn't like supports. There's a clear lack of role diversity for some classes and the new companion thing won't fix that when it comes to making groups for higher content.

I also support the idea of more support type classes. When I played Ff14 I enjoyed healing jobs just fine, but the support classes felt a great middle ground between dps and heals that I loved to play and I think WoW could benefit that style role as well.

Having full mana always worries me, because they will force the healers like myself. who arent good at doing dmg AND healing, to do dmg to keep mana when they buff the shit out of mana cost for spells...because of Disintegrate itll be yet another dps hybrid healer which im tired of the devs doing to ALL THE HEALER SPECs now....or it at least feels that way. Pally, monk, and priest are enough, i dont want to see pres evoker go that route as well. :/

I think using Tip the Scales as the activator is an essential mistake Blizzard often makes, giving utility abilities a damage aspect that completely changes when you want to use that ability.

preservation just wasn't that much fun to play originaly... the increased skill ceiling does sound like a good - potentialy great thing, but like someone else mentioned I worry the base class kit design is just so darn clunky to start with

The skill ceiling increased to this level immediately after S1, its just that most people dropped it because it wasn’t OP anymore
