Preservation Perspectives-Meet the 2024 L.A. City Council Candidate: District 14 Ysabel Jurado

As a resident of CD14 I've watched my neighborhood spiral downhill with rampant crime and quality of life issues. Much of this because of the laws that have been enacted the past several years such as Prop 47, 57, Lavan vs LA, Jones vs LA, and the election of George Gascon. All of these laws have either been anti-police or anti-law and order. It was in CD14 that Johnny Wactor was murdered. The police have been beat up by the media and public since George Floyd and are now totally demoralized. The last thing we need is this woman, with her defund the police, anti-police bias, and who chants out "F-the police", sitting on our city council. I'm no fan of KDL, but he's definitely got my vote for this reason alone.
