My Father was a B-47 pilot in the 307th Bomb Wing. We lived there from 1954 to 1963.

Was stationed there 1963 to 1964. Was attached to the food service squadron. Worked the missile kitchen,flight kitchen and alert facility. Great assignment.

My Grandfather - M Sgt. Perry Skaggs retired from Lincoln AFB in 1967. Miss him still.

wow. Maybe he knew my grandfather, 1st Lt. Perry Esping. All I know is he had his official photo taken there in 1957. Didn't get the chance to know him unfortunately. He went by Bill despite not having William in his name

i came to lincoln in nov. 1961, and stayed untill i was part of the civil engineering team that closed the base in 1966, on my way to viet nam.
