As someone who has an undying urge to preserve and archive content (I even made my own MIDI Archive of one game and its many, many versions with someone because we were so thoroughly displeased with how haphazardly thrown together the other so-called “collections” were) this greatly pleases me. I feel it’s all too easy for a lot of this stuff to be lost and things like preserving these DVDs doesn’t happen enough in the MK community.

I'm glad to finally see all this stuff properly deserved without annoying watermarks over them! Also, as another commenter suggested: Please upload them to the Internet Archive. A Google Drive link can be taken down or deleted at any time. Internet Archive is forever.

There's just something about old school videogame feelies that hits different. They were so much more creative and featured so much behind the scenes content and commentary. I assume they don't do stuff like that anymore because video content as a bonus has become so devalued in the modern day but there was just something so magical about seeing such raw behind the scenes content and commentary without it being run through several execs and focus tested to death because of it being used as advertising for the game rather than a fun bonus to the side.

I'm surprised nobody is picking up on it but the aspect ratio I think it's actually appreciated for this like it fits well with the media he's covering some old stuff that was probably on a 16 to 9 aspect ratio... I think correct me if I'm wrong if it's not 16 to 9 I'm probably wrong but I like the video and I really really hope you get a collection of every single Mortal Kombat game excluding mobile of course because how would that work with every other game like you have full complete games and then you just have a mobile game

Really amazing content thank you for revealing and sharing this with us and congratulations for acquiring such rare gems I might add, it would have been a shame if this became lost media . RIP Midway I truly remember when Mortal Kombat at one point was the GOAT of all fighting games for me during this era I love the nostalgia and it pains to see what were the glory days to the slop days of nrs post 2010 as well as other great Midway games like Gaunlet, Primal Rage, The Suffering, NARC, Wizard Of Wor and so on and I do not wish nrs to touch these IPs so they remain pure and untainted it would be nice if these games were to be revived but only at the right hands whom respects the Legacy we seen how indiscriminately they have desecrated and defiled Mortal Kombat I do not wish the same for the rest of Midway’s Gold. Midway games are never coming back just as much as Star Wars is being a cynic it’s a sad reality I have accepted.

I've heard of certain Blu-Ray releases having special features that only work with an online connection of some sort, which only certain Blu-Ray players have. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some DVDs with special features only viable on specific models of DVD player, probably incorporating some feature only unique to certain lines. I mean the Nuon exists, I wouldn't put anything passed them.

The DVD's were given out as marketing, there were never for Public. It's kinda weird. The MK:DA one is VERY hard to get these days. And before anyone comments "He's Lying!!" The MK:D one was given to me by my marketing rep in Australia. They only had like 10 here as they were mostly for Europe.
