I’m not an electrician, but I’ve always enjoyed doing my own simple electrical projects. I’ve learned a lot from your videos and I’ve been particularly impressed with how much care you take to tidy up the drywall around the panels you’ve upgraded. Can’t tell you how many electricians I’ve encountered who’ve said “there will be holes, and we don’t do patching!”

Nice to see they used a deeper 21/8" deep 1900 box. Thats the only size that I used to stock in my van. Hated using extension boxes on the 11/4 " deep boxes. Was lucky to get enough commercial work that I stopped doing residential work. Nice work.

Too bad I hadn't known about this channel when you were removing all of that old knob and tube wiring.. I was involved in a rebuild of an old building here in Fresno, and I saved almost all of those old insulators (as intact as possible) to reuse on my live steam scale railway telegraph line poles. I'm planning to install signals along our railway at the ranch, so those would be perfect for supporting the 12V DC lines.

The "base flood elevation level" until....the future storm that creates a new "base flood" which goes above that!

Nice job.I have done a lot of these type of jobs. The one nice thing about your particular job is that I didnèt see any insulation in the attic. If there was insulation and it was July or August, this job would not be so nice lol

Awesome walkthrough Ron. Remember thinking it through is free doing it again isn't ahahh. I like how you took your time to lay out/refeed the circuits and managed to use existing wiring. Also how do u like auger bits recently my boss gifted me one. Used it in my 20v dewalt drill and it nearly pulled me thru the joist hahahah. Keep the content coming thanks.

For the amount of holes I’m drilling the auger bit is the best choice.

Making it right 👍. I enjoyed jobs like this. You have to be creative and trace everything out just in case there’s weird stuff going on behind walls etc. nice work so far

nice job Ron! Great work as usual!! i went to diagnose ccts yesterday in an attic and wires were everywhere on top of the joists. where foot travel is. Very common to see this.

Thanks, that's much appreciated. I'm a Ford guy but I was greatly disappointed when I had to spring for a new transmission at 97,000 miles. I'm currently at 212,000 and going strong.

Very Good job Electrician Ron Just don't push the wires into the push in holes on the back of the switch or an outlet always use the screw poles on the side.

So important everyone recycles the copper!! There was a huge highway project near me and all the old copper went to the dump!! They said it was not worth the time. Disgusting.
