Instead of releasing paid packs that should be free for existing users, might I recommend updating Massive X to have... An undo/redo function.... an optional display for values for the parameters... a smoother UI that doesn't stutter under load... the ability to import wavetables.... the ability to edit wavetables... a MUCH more refined LFO editor..... basically how about an update that would elevate this Synth beyond the status of "Beta" and make it actually competitive with other wavetable synths on the market :)

To be fair, I don't think the preset designers have a lot to do with the development of the synth. While I agree updates are needed, why complain about expansions?

Need features expansion, not more presets. There's no incentive for me to use this over Phaseplant or Harmor.

I have all NIs products, but I still find myself going back to simpler devices and sounds, like a solid bass line from my MicroKorg or just plain synth pad patch from a Keyboard. I’m fatigued from all the “extras” in many of the modern VSTs . It’s like 2 different reverbs, echo, warp, wobble for one patch and it sounds too much sonically to my ears.

I don't know why all this hate.. the variety and complexity of sound you can get out of this thing is amazing! And yes it can still sound warm and analogue. The only reason I don't use it as much is because of how resource hungry it is.. I am getting lot of crashes when using it and also cpu spikes. NI fixing this would make this my go-to digital synth

I can't even get expansions to load into the damn thing I have bought when following their own instructions. Really wish that menu you have for the keyboard was just included in the damn software without the keyboard.

Have used this extensively and am a loyal NI user BUT it is a bit dense and I need to run in flat dark mode to reduce CPU usage. My computer guys tells me that a computer with 32GB ram is a must now for all of the animations and flows. Some of the presets are very rudimentary and I wonder how they chose them. Overall a work in progress I think.

Komplete kontrol is missing 3 essential features: 1. Key detection of samples. Even the free track 01 kick has this. 2. Ability to use it as effects chain i.e. without instruments. 3. Fucking automation of effects plugins. I had to say fucking cause komplete kontrol is bloody useless without this feature. Ni expects us all to make music without automation lmao

I can’t stand Massive X. Almost every preset sounds like a cheesy 80’s horror film score. Nothing musical to their sounds. Not worth the $$$$. If you produce sounds for film scores, this may be a good choice. If you produce music, go with something else like Pigment 3 or use the synth inside your DAW.
