You are 100% correct. Obasanjo did a great job with the economy with a growth rate of 6-15% annually during his tenure. He paid off our debt to Paris Club and left a health foreign exchange reserve. Today we are crippled economically and it is not getting better. While Obasanjo may be right about most of the things he said, I think he could have passed his advice to government privately via other channels. I am sure he has direct access to the President, Law makers and the Judiciary.
