Bill Clinton was always comfortable around Black people. He acted like a family member when he came around Black people. It was just natural. When you look at Trump, he seems uncomfortable being around us.

Bill Clinton also spoke to us in 1995/1996. I was there. To the younger people in their 30s & below, this was PRE social media. There was no internet & life was different. We didn't know our neighbors political views nor did we know EVERY aspect & detail of people's personal lives. Politics weren't as devisive & polarizing as they are now. President Clinton was NOT a PERFECT man, but it wasn't about that. We still had RESPECT for the OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENCY during this time. It could've been George Bush Sr or EVEN DONALD TRUMP speaking & we as a church would've STILL given them the honor & respect he deserved. It was HISTORIC & MONUMENTAL to have a sitting President visit a national COGIC convention. Unprecedented. Also, this was PRE-OBAMA. We NEVER thought we'd see a black man as President & honestly, Bill Clinton was the closest thing to that. People commenting on Bill Clinton's personal life are trying to judge the past from a MODERN lense & scope. You can't do that. Also, the Democratic Party that Bill Clinton represented during this time WAS NOT the extreme far left party it has become today. It was liberal but NOT extreme & almost God-less like today. The 1990s was truly a unique decade. Probably the best decade in American history in terms of peace, prosperity, & harmony. It was PEAK America.

Last I remember, our Lord entertained folk from all walks of life. We also know that all that grace our pulpit on Sunday mornings are not living as the bible orders. Pray for him, them, us, and yourself to one day be the one God is calling us to be!

I was there that day, with my 3 children. Genesis, Exodus, and Chronicles. President Clinton stopped at my seat spoke and asked the name of my children. I wish I could find my ticket that we had to have to get in.

What was the President's response to their names?!

there are two things better than living to a ripe old age. The first is living to be hundreds of years old; the other is enjoying eternal life. Both blessings will be present during the Golden Age. When Jesus sets up His Kingdom, lifespans will return to the patterns we see early in Genesis-hundreds of years. Meanwhile, those who have been raptured and resurrected will have ageless, glorified, eternal bodies. Today is only the most recent installment in a life that never ends. Enjoy it! The Second Coming of Christ will be so revolutionary that it will change every aspect of life on this planet. Billy Graham

Imagine if Wooden becomes PB and he invites Trump to Mason Temple
@iamnolaloveАй бұрын
I'd be outside Propesting the invitation, but Wooden will NEVER be our PB.

Crazy how we had an unbelieving sinner as a guest who was currently having an affair 😂
