President Donald Trump Addresses the UN General Assembly

U.S. President Donald Trump speaks at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Trump has long opposed globalism and criticized the multilateralism that is the foundation of the United Nations. However, as the leader of the country that hosts the world body, Trump is obligated to attend and speak to the U.N.'s General Assembly every year, which he did for the third time on Tuesday.
"If you want freedom, take pride in your country. If you want democracy, hold on to your sovereignty. If you want peace, love your nation," Trump in his address.
He had harsh words concerning Iran, saying all nations have a duty act to against the Islamic Republic. "No responsible government should subsidize Iran's bloodlust," he said.
In a joint statement issued Monday, Britain, France and Germany declared that Iran is responsible for recent attacks on Saudi oil facilities. They join the United States, which has instituted new economic sanctions against Iran in response to the attacks.
Iran has denied responsibility, and on Monday Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif called on European signatories to the 2015 agreement regarding Iran's nuclear program to forge an "independent path" from the United States and help Iran work around U.S. sanctions.

Trump almost certainly had less than 5% involvement of writing this speech. his advisers prob asked him what do you want to talk about, and he said make sure to have conflict with Iran centered in speech and also the trade war with China. @Donna Mcgettigan Well there go all those Socialist benefits which neither you nor yours apparently have need for. In no particular order: Police Department, Fire Department, Ambulance, Medicare, Medicaid, Recreation Centres, Old Age pension, Union Pensions, Credit Unions, Life/Home/Auto Insurance plans, Auto Clubs: AAA, and any club which offers only one vote per member. Living in Canada I definitely appreciate and respect all these along institutions, supported thru my tax dollars. The slightly higher taxes I pay are definitely worth the money. It's election time (in Canada) and two of our four political parties are promising to add dental/optical care and prescription drugs as an addition to the single payer healthcare we've had for decades.
