I liked her in the anime, but after reading the whole manga, I think she is among the best persons character wise in the manga, and that is something if you have competition like Shirogane and Ishigami. Shows how different her upringing must have been compared to "Ice princess" Kagyua, because Maki has naturally a kind heart
