As per the current president, "removing them would attract Western investors to Zimbabwe after close to two decades of economic isolation". Interesting! On the one hand the upper echelons are of the opinion "the best white man is a dead white man", on the other hand they want the same predominantly white west to invest in the country. If Mugabe had changed his stance there would have been no sanctions and the west would've invested long ago, yet he stood firm until the end. For your info, the European Union (EU) currently has no economic sanctions on Zimbabwe, the individual measures still in place concern a very limited number of persons linked to the previous regime and consist of an arms export ban, assets freeze and travel restrictions, among others. These restrictions have no impact on the economy of the country. Anything suggesting the opposite is wrong.

We Africans are dumb. We would never learn. We keep on celebrating our relationship with China. What is that relationship exactly? The Chinese are playing chess. Dumb Africans are playing checkers. We as a race are doomed. Looks like God made us to be used, abused and discarded.
