I truly think the world is rapidly sliding off their fingers. Time for your people to wake up has come. President Robert Mugabe stood his ground against the bullies narcissistic people calling themselves civilized! By so doing they gave him a well known name they give to any African Leader who stand up against them: "dictator" put sanctions on Zimbabwe to force people rise against their leader. Unfortunately what you all expected, "war" did not happen. Zimbabwe today is managing to sustain herself. She have survived. She is stronger today than yesterday. @@Visionery1 Sanctions destroyed Bread basket! Do your Research. Don't you know Zimbabwe is still under sanctions? Do you know what happens when the nation is under sanctions? I am sure you are intelligent enough to understand. Mugabe could not derail his own country like this! Africa is proud of this man and the people of Zimbabwe that they stood firm with their leader Robert Gabriel Mugabe under such strenuous circumstances. But one day Zimbabwe will soar like an eagle again. Then we can truly say Zimbabwe a bread basket of Africa. As far as I am concerned, Rhodesia was bread basket for selected few! Never for Africans. Love from Zambia
@Visionery15 жыл бұрын
@@glorytoyahzulu6229 sanctions were imposed in 2002, around the time when Mugabe started forcing out white farmers and destroying the agricultural sector. As per the current president, "removing them would attract Western investors to Zimbabwe after close to two decades of economic isolation". Interesting! On the one hand the upper echelons are of the opinion "the best white man is a dead white man", on the other hand they want the same predominantly white west to invest in the country. If Mugabe had changed his stance there would have been no sanctions and the west would've invested long ago, yet he stood firm until the end. For your info, the European Union (EU) currently has no economic sanctions on Zimbabwe, the individual measures still in place concern a very limited number of persons linked to the previous regime and consist of an arms export ban, assets freeze and travel restrictions, among others. These restrictions have no impact on the economy of the country. Anything suggesting the opposite is wrong.
@glorytoyahzulu62295 жыл бұрын
@@Visionery1 There is one thing I have observed in you people, you think what you know is the only truth! Once you focus on one thing you can never turn neither to the left or to the right. That attitude will make you feel really sad in Africa. African peoples are not bad people! Only if you can learn to soften your neck and heart, turn the other side and listen with your heart. Africa is home to all of us, it's supposed to be that way! Unfortunately you have a different look at it. We Bantus are each brothers keeper, while you are for everyone alone. That's the biggest difference between us. This philosophy never existed in your DNA while to Bantus it's a building block. The struggle goes on! Go ahead keep your true ideologies

The speech was sweet, but I still don't trust the true intent of China in Africa. Let's look inward and develop Africa with our own hands. Same China did it to themselves by themselves and now they desire world dominance and Africa has all it takes for their takeoff point to the world. The present indebtedness of Nigeria alone to China is alarming and calls for redress. If you agree with me, hit like. But if you will rather disagree, state your reasons.

It's saddening to watch this. Having measures without understanding their core intentions will in one way or another leave us as nothing but colonies once again!

Ask yourself, the Western colonial masters of yours have been in Africa long before China. So what have they done for the Africans? Slavery and enslaving could be counted as the greatest gift!!

Gambu Am Nigerian. And I think you should shut up. We are repeating history again. We are opening the gates to those that would violate us, use us, and then spit us out after they are done. We Africans are dumb. We would never learn. We keep on celebrating our relationship with China. What is that relationship exactly? The Chinese are playing chess. Dumb Africans are playing checkers. We as a race are doomed. Looks like God made us to be used, abused and discarded.
@gambu48108 жыл бұрын
If we're having any relationship with Russia and China I believe it's all good because they never took it upon themselves to colonize us or anyone else for that matter so if the west would loose an economic ground on our counties since they've shown very little remourse anyway I believe it would be just
