@Unknown Unknown are you aware of private property, not all white people that had land were born there (who knows?) they just bought land with the government´s approval and they were expropriated without compensation, and it´s not justice at all, if your ancestors commited genocide or killed someone should you pay for it, im pretty sure most of them if not all dont glorify their ancestor´s ways to do things. If you want justice zimbabwe should have asked the uk for reparations or basic help or better than anything else the right to enter the commonwealth something no ex british colony should ever have left not expropriate people who simply look like the people that took their land by forces centuries ago, and because of what happened zimbabwe was reduced to slumbs, and there was no problem with the previous owners of the land because they were bringing in money, in fact the agriculture that the white minority controlled was the backbone of zimbabwe´s economy, when black people got the land they simply took whatever was already there instead of cultivating the land. And that´s how war works if you loose you have to comply with the winner wishes, perhaps if black people hadn´t lost this would never had happened and they just won by being under the british perhaps not well treated but a huge upgrade from a tribal or feudal society to an actual civilisation if you go to africa the only infrastructure good left is from the colonial times.

That wasn't supposed to be a lone move and this is the reason why it looked bad for Zim people. There is a war on control and when they win they would put in their money as investments and you would work and be in their debts. In fact, they would own you and only a great leader who prefers to fight today and get a bad name today. In my opinion, most of the people that come out to be elected are often hyenas who are there to let their masters hunt and take the leftovers. Africa would still be poor if we keep worshipping and respecting the global propaganda instead of traveling to Zimbabwe and talk with locals and doing background history and research!

If white people have to give back land that is legally purchased, simply because the are white, then how is that any different from white people stealing land from black people? I understand that the British have done bad by the people of Africa, but there are many people who are technically white - people from Eastern Europe and Northern Europe, people from Scandanavia, Ireland, Poland, ect that had no part in colonialism. Part of acknowledging that white people are no better than black people is giving white people the same protections as black people.
@cleodontina111 жыл бұрын
Muon Ray Stolen property can never be 'legally purchased'
@MuonRay11 жыл бұрын
cleodontina1 It depends on what is on the property. If people are being robbed of their houses and belongings by being forcibly evicted then you can say it is theft. If the land was developed by a certain group of people you cannot say "this exact land was stolen from us". That is a false dichotomy. Land changes with the owner. Everyone should have equal purchasing powers; if you own more land you should pay more taxes aswell, but a piece of land that has a goldmine on it is more valuable than a piece of desert so, again, the owners should pay more taxes. however, if the value of the land was made possible through development, i.e. the people who built the mine or refinery to gain the resource then they are the owners of the property on that land. Land itself you cannot own, only what you develop on it. It may seem morally justified that the land colonized by white people should be given back, to atone if you will, however what about the factories, power plants, chemical and nuclear resources which were extracted and refined by the colonists should they be given back too? Are the white colonists then responsible for their use or misuse? It is not a simple solution. Those who think that land should be given back to "rightful owners" have a bad habit of simply giving it to whatever militia has the most gruesome weapons and war tactics. The best universal truth is to not let the sins of the parents be inherited by the sins of the children. Have equal rights and economic powers for every group that exists. That is the only way forward.
@07thomasdd10 жыл бұрын
Hahahaha by your shitty logic the land does not belong to black zimbabwe citizens neither than. if you believe in a first come first serve system then the land should be given back to the old kingdom of Mapungubwe who the land belonged to way before the people of zimbabwe, black and white!!!!!
