Ok so she says that during 9/11 the F-16 fighting falcons (fighter jets capable of speeds of mach 2) that were escorting air force one had to ask air force one pilots to slow down so they couldn't keep up. F-16s are the fastest single engine fighter jet in the world, they would have no trouble keeping up with a 747 that cant even do mach 1. The cruising speed for a F-16 is over 500 mph.
