Thanks for the video Neil and welcome to the club. The case that Knights sell is a good investment IMO. I prefer the Randy III to the Thunderpole TX myself (other than the NRC that is) cheers Dave 🙂

As soon as the weather breaks i will get up the top with it as well as around the streets. I suppose i could pop by the sea if it interests you, good excuse for a trip out anyway.

The Randy III was updated recently to include the "Scan Skip" feature that many of their new Cb radios are getting. It allows you to lock out certain channels while scanning. Does yours have that feature? They said it's printed on the outside of the box to make it clear, because they kept the same name, model number and sku code.

Would be interesting sometime to compare the updated Randy III to the Randy II FCC, particularly the menus and key layout. @@gtretroworld
