Ronnie called her "Maggie", and she called him "Ronnie". They were very good friends, and Britain and America were never so close as back then. I miss them both!

@@samfri3nd she privatised nearly everything because nationalisation doesn't work, she closed less pits than Harold Wilson as they too were unviable , she smashed the unions that were wrecking this country with strikes, she gave tenants the right to buy their council house at rock bottom prices, the Poll Tax as a one parent family was great for me, but badly thought out, she was strong, intelligent and determined, she put this country back on it's feet and would have stopped the migrant crisis immediately

Is it true, that Maggie Thachter preferred Reagan much more than George H. W. Bush?

That's a silly question who didn't and who wouldn't. Reagan was a great man and great president. Both Bush's were just men that were presidents.

Like Dyan’s eyepatch or Arafat’s sunglasses, Mrs. Thatcher’s familiar handbag became a symbol of her influence.
