That was fabulous and there were so many country artists that were there that are no longer with us! I thought that was Ernest Tubb helping Billy Walker pull out the birthday cake! I know he passed away that year but didn't know exactly what day! Turns out that Ernest died in hospital only 7 days before this event on September the 6th! The guy sure looked like him, he even wore the same kind of stetson hat that Ernest always wore! God rest all the souls of those wonderfully talented people and many thanks for sharing this video!

Not afraid to let you know they believe in God. And willing put their faith in God when need be ! I'm glad I was around when both of these men were alive. I certainly wouldn't want to be growing up today. I feel sorry for those who are, because discipline and accountability are a bad thing to be without.

He was the best President of our modern times. I say that at 70 years of age, but I thought so even at the time. He was the ultimate statesman, completely turned our economy around, and convinced Gorbachev to tear down the wall. And he did it all honesty, with integrity, and a sense of humor. DeSantis could learn from him, as could our most recent Republican president. Maybe someone (not Trump) can lead the party back to fiscal responsibility and morality.

I am not talking about either party but there no middle any more. Country music now sucks😢. Mr Acuff built the Grand Ole Opry you respected him and what you did on the stage. There was a dress code. Now look. 😢 To you both Ret in peace and I am truly sorry that this is not what you all had in mind.

Whenever I hear any speech he delivers I am with my smile on my face telling anyone around now who is a great speaker? The media met in the morning of Obamas announcement to run and put out a narrative that this 1st term speaker is such a great speaker I didn't know that I was to consent this when casting vote but media learned even more that year and gave us president Obama. On the morning after the speech for Goldwater in 1964 the media never mention that Ronald Reagan was a masterful speaker because he didn't have to remember his hearts list of things needed to be done I miss that great man the greatest love story of all time

I’d say he was one of the best , if not the best president’s the USA ever seen. These couple of videos I’ve just watched brought back a lot of memories. I wish in all the things we are going through today that we could get someone as good as he was to run the USA again. He really influenced Canada as well.
