Trickle down economics which Reagan implemented was proven to NOT be successful. They did not lower cost or lower yearly inflation. They did however increase the profits of these companies. Keep in mind, a company will almost NEVER reduce the cost of something simply because their cost of production goes down. They will simply let it increase their profits. You cannot expect a company will do what’s best for the consumer unless it’s mutually beneficial (like not making bottled water $200 a case) without any sort of government intervention. For Reagan’s tax plans to work, you would need to heavily regulate the profits of each company, which would be expensive, and against what Reagan stood for to begin with. Reagan’s policies was not good for the American people.
