Laws made during President's Rule remain in force till a new State Legislature repeals/alters it. "Laws made during PR are not coterminous with the proclamation for withdrawal of President's Rule from a State. It has to be repealed, altered by the state legislature." Good evening sir...... President rule in India may extend maximum upto 3 years but it needs to be approved by the parliament in every six months. Rules made during this time may extend upto 30 more days if loksabha is dissolved and is approved by rajyasabha already.

President's rule can continue the laws for 6 months but it can be extended for a maximum of 3 years by the approval of parliament

Law made during president rule can be extended to six months after approval of both houses (rajyasabha and loksabha) it can extended to maximum three years but by continuous approval from both houses at period of six months
