This man is a weak president. He governs Kenya as if he were a white man or perhaps under American influence. How can he address a crisis and then, within a few days, speak as if the situation has been resolved like in America? He seems to have forgotten that he is in Africa, where leaders rule with an iron hand and never apologize. In a typical African country, the approach would be to find a scapegoat, such as a particular tribe, and blame them for the unrest. A curfew would be imposed for only two hours during the day, and anyone disobeying that order would be shot on sight. What happened to that typical African playbook? As I said, he is a weak president. He should learn from Nigerian presidents how to rule.
