Good advice. Just enjoy the moment - Disney does a nice job of filling the parks with so much to look at and enjoy

Avoid hot, busy and hurricane

I've gone to WDW for the Christmas for years. I usually rope drop and leave when it gets too crowded then come back later in the day for any lightning lanes I've booked. This past year though, the crowds came in a lot earlier and genie plus was costly. It was also the coldest I've ever experienced in WDW. I plan to skip Christmas in the future and stick to our end of Aug trips. I do prefer surface of the sun hot to freezing my butt off.🙂

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts! You know, we used to do Disney fairly often during Christmas in the past too. You're so right though! Crowds have most definitely changed, especially in the past few years. They seem to arrive earlier and stay longer making it a whole different thing. We noticed it first in 2019, when we came down for a Christmas ~ New Years visit which was honestly. . . . a nightmare. I swore I'd never do Christmas at Disney again and for the most part that's true. Though, it's a bit different now that we live here [but that's a different story]. Couldn't agree more though! Rope drop and leave when it gets too crowded and come back later in the day is the WAY. TO. GO! It's one of our biggest tips for doing the parks almost any time of the year and I honestly don't think people realize just how effective [and laid back] a method it can be! 😄
