I have lived in the Pacific NW for over 20+ years. I watched in horror as these windmills took over all of the scenic landscapes. HOORAY that our President has begun to stop this insanity! These whirligigs NEVER produced their promised electricity output from day one. Good riddance!

I'm not an engineer and even I could figure out that these Soylent Green energy "road to nowhere" projects are just a waste of taxpayer dollars.

Wind and solar farms are built and operated with federal taxpayer grants. And the same taxpayers that pay the grants. Pay higher electric bills to support the grants. We pay twice so they can profit.

The wind mills are ugly as hell and are not that efficient. They need to stop any new windmills and any that are not erected yet need to replace old ones that no longer work so the materials do not go to waste.
@PaulineHendricks-wt9oc3 сағат бұрын
Haven't you heard of recycling materials?
@digger182520 минут бұрын
@@PaulineHendricks-wt9ocYou need to read up on what they do with windmills that they no longer need, they dig a big pit and they shove those windmills into that pit and they bury it. Your idea of recycling is a fantasy they don't recycle them they just bury him in the ground. Do some research before you start trying to put people down. Also all the recycling you think goes to the dumps and gets recycled cuz you think you're saving the planet they don't they just dump it into the regular garbage because it costs too much to try to clean it and reuse it so they just don't do it. Do some research!

Tommy Norris - Windmills “You have any idea how much diesel we had to burn to mix that much concrete? Or make that steel? Or haul this s**t out here and put it together with a 450-foot crane? You want to guess how much oil it takes to lubricate that f****** [windmill]?”“Or winterize it? In its 20-year lifespan, it won't offset the carbon footprint of making it. And don't even get me started on solar panels and the lithium in your Tesla batteries.” “if Exxon thought them f****** things [windmills] were the future, they'd be putting them all over the goddamn place."

Question how much would it cost to build just one gas electric power plant using gas on site through fracking against the cost of building wind mills to achieve the same amount of power as a gas power plant. Also how would the gas power plane be better than wind and time build against installing multiple wind turbines and the long time life time gas power station V wind turbines which has the best longevity
