We need more than that. The oil we drill in the US is oil shale or dirty oil. The refineries we have are for what they call sweet crude. What we used to have. We can't refine the oil shale stuff without a major upgrade or better yet build some new refineries for the first time since the 1970s to refine it. Another point - get rid of greenpeace and the sierra club. They cost the US so much money for nuclear and anything else anyone wants to do. Many people think they lie like hell on issues.
