Yes, and it is the first time that she appears human and not Mrs. Roboto. During her campaign she was extremely unlikeable, with her canned responses, auto-replies, she truly acted like an alien. This Howard Stern interview is the first time since the '80s that Hillary Clinton has appeared likable. I voted (hesitantly) for Trump - and I regretted it about 6 months in. I assume when this interview was done she wished that she came on to during her presidential campaign.

How do people not understand why we have an electoral college?
@richevans6094 жыл бұрын
We have it so people like her don't become President....Thank God
@sn074 жыл бұрын
They do. What people don’t understand is why we still have it. It is outdated and pointless. What people actually don’t know is why it was put into place. If people understood that then they’d see why it’s useless in the 21st century. The minority shouldn’t rule the majority in a true democracy. Period.
@addisonhinson62904 жыл бұрын
People are dumb.
@yourlocalramen16604 жыл бұрын
We have an electoral college because of the fact that we worried about the division of Big and Small states back in the 1700's. We don't worry about it anymore and it has no longer represented the majority, with only about 48-52% of the eligible population actually voting and the fact that 2/3 of the last Presidents lost the popular vote for their first term in office.

It should be every vote counts period. BTW Trump has fucked ppl like you in rural communities sooo how did that work out for you?
@jeffbunnell5 жыл бұрын
C The electoral college is perfection. If you want your vote to count and have the ultimate power, move to a smaller State. You are the one who is deciding to fractionalize the power of your vote by where you choose to live. And it’s been this way since the ratification of our constitution so I don’t know why people are so upset about it all of a sudden, like someone pulled a fast one🤷♂️
@Deathwink15 жыл бұрын
Dude Texas and Florida has more people than ny.
@bighuge10605 жыл бұрын
C & Just Me, you vote for these delegates who comprise the electoral college so the voter does have input into the process. Joe is correct about its intent. The Framers created this way of electing a president because the United States of America is just that; a collection of sovereign states with each having equal weight to decide the fate of the country of which they are a part. It is also unnecessary to interject a candidate/lawmaker or president into whether the electoral college should be scrapped in favor of a simple majority vote.
@randomfan7925 жыл бұрын
Well of course you like it.You've been given priority over someone based on your zipcode. You'll have to excuse my lack of enthusiasm over the privilege you're enjoying. From my perspective, living in a rural community doesn't give you any improved voting skills. You're doing the country no favors by smugly accepting the idea that your capacity to elect a person is superior to mine. But I'm not at all shocked that you find this arrangement agreeable

@corellicorelli5 жыл бұрын
This national vote talk doesn't make sense. The national vote wasn't measured because people were not asked to vote in such a way. If it had been a national election with any vote equal to that of everybody else, conservatives in California and New York as well as liberals in Texas and Alabama would have voted knowing that their votes would have counted. With the electoral college, it makes no difference whether 3 or 5 million republicans in California vote for the republican candidate as long as more democrats vote for their candidate and get all the electoral votes. Trump won fair and square and would probably have won as well if the elections had been organized otherwise. This is the objective truth of it.

@walterhicks55205 жыл бұрын
Lol..it would have only offended people who didn't already like her, which is why she didn't win. It isn't that she didn't have support. It's that when it comes to HRC (much like Trump) there are 2 kinds of people. You either like her/him, or you despise the ground she/he walks on. The group that despise her are much larger and wider than her support, which dwindles rapidly outside of major population centers (even here in Arkansas, Bills home state, people can't stand her in droves because well, they know her),...which also happens to be the vast majority of the nation. Point blank, and it's what stings her the most, it isn't that she isn't 'liked', it's that Trump isn't hated near as much as HRC. He just has far more vocal detractors. Which again worked in his favor, as these people (MSM/etc) aren't liked outside of major population centers, either. It's what the majority of Americans keep trying to tell 'city dwellers/thinkers', you only THINK you're the majority because of what you see when you look out your tiny windows, but the nation beyond is vast and you're but a drop in it.
