Thank god the whole interview and not 3 min clips.. I’m not a democrat, nor am I republican and I think parties have divided our country. With that being said, I wish she was this relatable and open a long time ago. It probably would’ve helped her a lot. She would tend to come off really cold and definitely not relatable to a large majority of Americans.

The Public is cruel. Politics is even worse. I believe a cold exterior is a protective mechanism. I use it myself. She had so much crap flung at her during her husband’s presidency and afterwards. This may seem trivial, but I can’t forget how much criticism she got for her hairstyles. Yes, her HAIRSTYLES. When does the media EVER make male political figures’ hairstyles a news item? She grew up in a middle class suburb of Chicago, the one next door to my town. She wasn’t the child of a super-wealthy dysfunctional family. She lived through public humiliation because of her husband’s infidelity and yet she had the courage to get through it with grace. It is obvious that there is more depth to her. I never saw any humanity in Donald Trump.

In 1996 or 97 I attended a local community center event where Hillary would be campaigning for her husband's reelection. I honestly went to get out of work. However after hearing her speak about the accomplishments of the Clinton campaign and her goals (she was a health care reform proponent as First Lady) I was blown away by how intelligent, relatable and well spoken she was. Afterward I briefly met her and we spoke about working full time while raising small daughters. I've been a supporter ever since. She would have been a great president. Love listening to her and Howard, great interview.

It's kind of annoying how he like does not stop complimenting profusely the entire show though...it's like OK- she gets it, we get it, and it's like overdone.Tbh the excessive compliments really make it sound disingenuous to me, like I can't figure out what he's doing but he's doing something and it seems inauthentic or even patronizing or offensive, or at the very least like the kind of kid in like 2nd grade who was such a suck up to the teacher that'd they'd end up telling on you for things that aren't even an actual issue, like if the teacher says to shake you're boots 8 times at the door when your walking in from snow but you only did 7 on you left boot& they tell the teacher or something super dumb like that...It sounds like that's except he's a grown man not a child so he knows better. I do actually think it's kind of offensive though seeing as in an interview *OF* howard stern by someone (I forget), he explained his tactic when interviewing Trump which literally amounts to this, and seeing as Hillary is not Trump and isn't so insecure and defensive fundamentally that she requires full praise and constant reassurance in order to be comfortable enough to be open & actually those things probably make her uncomfortable bc they either come off untrue like there's some clinical or ulterior motive clinical or just creepy/weird/awkward
