Hey. Do you think choosing Canada over Usa for MS in CS will be a wise decision considering the visa struggles in USA?

Hi Chirag, I definitely think getting your MS done in Canada as opposed to the US is much better option now due to the perpetual Visa and Green Card issues. Also, Canada allows international students to work off campus (20 hours per week), so that gives you a better chance of earning some extra cash while studying to offset your cost in a new country. But, more importantly think in terms of your career options in both countries and then decide rather than hinging your decision based on visa issues. Good luck!

Hi Aj, This is a little complicated issue...Since you are primarily in Canada as a student, your main reason for stay is Canada is getting your education and allowed to work part-time to support their studies. But, this doesn't mean you can't start your own venture, but you would probably have to hire a manager for your business who would run the show for you. We would suggest you to talk to an immigration attorney about this prior to getting in to such a venture. Good luck!
