Thank you so much for bringing Marianne back on. More people need to hear what she has to say!

There are an absurd amount of haters on this thread who have never taken 60 seconds to actually listen to the things Marianne Williamson is actually saying (and has been saying for the last 5 years). Virtually none of them, if you read these ridiculous comments below, have any actual critique of her ideas or policies. It's all just smug and uninformed dismissals of a candidate that is clearly better than Biden, Trump, RFK, or anyone else in the race on nearly every issue. We're in a weird place in this country these days.

Marianne Williamson has a gravitas and quality that I would have, as an independent voter, liked to have and heard more from during the democratic “alleged” campaign.

The irony. Now it's the left forming a cult following around a TV celebrity and thin-skinned narcissist with an ultra-whacky religious following, with strong science-denier tendencies and a dose of vaccine hesitancy. Welcome to the club!

Thank you, Marianne, for explaining the rise of MAGA. American “republican democracy” has not ‘delivered on its promises’. Plain and simple. Too many regular working Americans feel and know the system is not just not working for them, but it is actually actively working against them. Though they may not be able to articulate that. So either they trust in Donald Trump or want a third party option.

I wish more people could see how real the manipulation and programming is by the propaganda box 📺. But many people don’t see it. They can’t. On the positive side, Marianne is always so articulate!! Great interview Cenk! Thank you.

What a great discussion between the two of you. I watch a variety of progressive channels and can wholeheartedly say I felt for the both of you! Hearing others snidely dismiss you alls efforts in taking the election by storm was really a shame to see. Everyone got all tribal as Marianne said. Which is only natural, despite the lefts focus on the individuals needs we are centered on a communitive efforts. Resulting in a bit of herd like thinking and a need for a strong but humble leader. Which if I'm being fair, is pretty standard behaviour for any over arching populous. Always needing to be subjugated in order to mush onward and build. Shouldn't be the case for the American left tho- and shouldn't be the case for any coalition of freedom fighters in general. An that is just what we had become in our movement for Bernie. We got a little lost in the weeds after taking the L... Started pointing fingers for a time, which was necessary in order to grow. In no way am I saying that either of you wouldn't have been able to fill that role and that's just whats so disappointing about it-. Both of you or Brother Cornel would have been a perfect fit for the type of leaders we so desperately need to get the populous truly wants to go-. It's like we forgot that it was ultimately our presence that likely influenced Biden to perform on the level that he has.. All though I know in comparison to our vision it's crumbs you already know though that's how it goes with establishment dems you ask for cake and get a half eaten cupcake. Nina said it best hahah. If you don't ask for cake at all you get a half eaten sardine. :D Bending the knee so early was the wrong call which Cenk has pointed out time and time again. I really respect y'alls drive and ability to show you don't care if you take a loss your willing to step in the ring and fight for what you believe in and ultimately it's generally what we as a collective believe in. HUMAN DECENCY. There definitely should have been more collective support . On the note of Bernie, I would venture to disagree with Cenk. I don't think he regards Joe as a close friend he can trust. I think he has kept a close eye on the trajectory of his movement post losing the nomination. I think he has reverted back to playing politics when necessary. (He still Bosses up frm time to time again strategically so') If the Left as a movement had another candidate with an agenda that parrelled his own already lined up ready to go- It's no question in my mind, he woulda fully supported them. We were just totally lost in disarray. Consider what I mentioned earlier about reeling in a mass movement. In the wake of this process we naturally generated an even larger percentage of head nodders. People who are new to the ideas and simply want to cheerlead. Totally okay however it left us with a great deal of absolutist who are hyperbolic in their thinking, not yet super familiar with the make and model at hand' more so caught up in the taglines.. The fallout of Bernie's movement required us to do some inventory and help reel in the idealism a bit. This takes time- I know TYT has done a good job with it- Destiny has done a good job with it- and even Kyle Kulinski and Crystal work to veer from culture vulture stuff. In looking into other leftwing journalist I still see a whole host of em who are trying to maintain relevance simply by remaining in lockstep with whatever our crowd says banner by banner' tagline by rally cry- I commend you two for your work and diligence. I know it's not the easiest path tapping in with self and contributing to the voice of reason in the room but you all are doing your best and staying true to yourselves. I challenge all left leaning commentators to get off the sidelines and actually do something to help the portion of our base they have in audience capture to think critically and strategically. Lastly, I'm sorry people were so hard on you two. For Cenk I'm slightly bummed to hear we still have the hold up with the citizenship clause potentially hindering your chances. I would like to see this change America is the melting pot. I think Arnold would be an outstanding representative for republicans in the days ahead.. For Marianne I'm sorry your spirituality was being wagered against you. You said it perfectly you are not flying in the wind with it and were totally gas lit on that front. Crazy to see America push back against personal spiritual development. What bizarre Hypocracy.. Great to hear y'all chop it upp. Onward and upward team!

I like Williamson. I think her policies are good, and she’s coming from the right progressive perspective. I just don’t think she’s a good politician. I’ll always remember her in the debates talking about love overcoming darkness (or something like that) and speaking in terms that are far too metaphorical to resonate with the average voter. Sadly, in politics, it’s not just the message, it’s the messenger, and she clearly isn’t the right messenger

Yuck no. Why would she endorse a man that is worse on Gaza policy? That makes zero sense
@graciebuckman78655 ай бұрын
@@JVSfit23 Because even though he does suck (big time!) on Gaza, he is a million times better than an Establishment candidate like Biden. Marianne can tell you first hand how awful and corrupt the Establishment is. It's way worse than most people can see. "Washington has become a system of legalized bribery." (Marianne) Kennedy is against corporate capture, and has been fighting it his whole career. He is not bound by it, like Biden is. If you listen to Kennedy and Marianne talk, you will actually hear a lot of similarities when it comes to Corporate Capture. The Establishment is totally captured by corporate forces. It wants censorship and total control; it cares little about the rights or needs of the people. And for all of Biden's talk about being the "environmental" president (what a joke!) Biden has actually approved MORE oil drilling permits than even Trump did. Also, his approval of the Willow Project basically nullified anything we would have gained from the Inflation Reduction Act. He's full of shit and needs to go. I want a president that CARES about this planet, and will not keep putting up with our human and corporate abuse of it. Kennedy has taken on Monsanto and won. He cleaned up the Hudson River. He knows how to take on corporate power and win. I love Jill Stein even more than Kennedy, but Kennedy actually has a chance. I would love to see Jill bust through this year, but ... I don't know. 😔 I really wanted Marianne, but she's not going to be on the ballot in November, sadly. MOST OF ALL .... I want NEITHER Biden nor Trump. So Kennedy it is.
