Presidential Daughter Buried in Sacramento

Jeff visits the grave of Maureen Reagan to explain that she was more than just presidential offspring. He was show her burial spot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Citrus Heights and talk about her years as an actress, author, humanitarian, activist, diplomat and political candidate.

I remember hearing about Maureen and her battle with melanoma. I believe it started as a skin cancer on her leg that she ignored. It made me take notice of my own skin and I've had several removed. She was definitely a moving force.

My Mom suffered from Alzheimer's as well. A very sad situation indeed. She knew who I was and was happy that I had called but didn't remember that I had called just the day before. She also was diagnosed with 3 brain tumors and the doctor gave her 3 weeks to live and she took that to heart and died 3 weeks later on July 11, 2015, we miss her dearly. There is no one left there is the main reason, as everyone has gone on, or moved away. My mother in law is buried in this cemetery and she attended the same church in downtown Sacramento.
