Presidio is a beast. Play there all the time (including today). So much challenge in the slope and layout. Nowhere to miss. And the only course where the wind, temperature and fog conditions add 4-5 strokes on any given day.

thats what a solid single digit handicapp looks like, was great to watch! any tips on driver control? its the main thing that keeps me out of the 70s most days.

Thanks for the kind words! For driver control, I always like to go with more loft, shorter shaft, and softer flex! I play my driver at 44" @ 11.5 loft (~100 mph driver swing speed)

Taylormade mini driver off the shelf would fit these specs. I use the 11.5 and it’s been great. Even the stock shaft is a touch softer for the stated flex compared to most regular driver shafts.

Going to play there with my son this Sunday morning, First time, Would you say front 9 or back 9 is "easier"? (We will only play 9 holes so checking for him,.. he is 8 y/o)

Presidio GC.......seriously overrated......seriously over-priced!! IMO
