"One day, I hope to play through, like a normal human being" really relate to that comment!

When my brain hears the words, "Go ahead and play through." I suddenly forget how to play golf lol

The Presidio was the first ever golf course I played. Absolutely beautiful. Glad you got a chance to play there again!

Even with the fog it's a beautiful course! When the sun came through I was in such awe it reminded me to not focus on the play but to enjoy the course/round.

Good one, Matt. It's one of the courses I somehow didn't play in the 7 years I lived there. No ragrets!

Looks incredible but seems like a nightmare to play with those scary greens haha. Definitely saving all your Northern California recommendations!

Probably one of the worst courses to try out a new flat stick but here we are haha.

Love the video man. Weather out there is always so unpredictable, but glad you had a great time man! Our time out at presedio was about the same haha

This course is no joke! Probs won't shoot any better here than I did that day 🤣

Hey Matt, Thanks for showing us this course. Could you do me a favor and leave the map summary of all your shots after each hole up at least twice as long. I like seeing how far you hit each club and from where. They go by so fast that I don't have time to hit pause. Thanks again.

I come to this range all the time! Wondering when you got out and what the pace of play was like. If I could finish a round before 10 am for my first work meeting I'd love to try to come out in the morning

My tee time was at 7:10am and I got done in 3 hours. It would've been faster but I caught some people in front of me by the 10th hole. They were still going at a good pace though!

hows the parking ,is the car safe?
@GolfParfection Жыл бұрын
A general rule in SF no matter where you are is to not leave anything of value in sight and not even in the trunks. I had no issue with my car in the Presidio golf course parking lot but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Not sure if you're gonna see this but I have two pretty simple things that could help you out. 1 is that you make a lot of mental mistakes. Rushing with people watching, hitting it left to avoid a guy you can't see on the right, etc. That was like 3 or 4 strokes this round at least. Just take your time, nobody really cares. 2 is laying up on par 5s. Stats show that amateurs suck at hitting further shots and are always better from closer, even if they don't feel like good wedge players. Don't say "I want to leave myself 75 yards", just hit it as close to the green as possible. It works out in the long run. Again, statistically. You can check strokes gained data and things like Arccos tracking. Obviously, that depends on the hole. If there's a lake in front of the green, maybe it's okay to layup if you're not confident.

2 things: -hard to lag putt with an armlock -bump and run is not as effective on fast greens
@GolfParfection Жыл бұрын
It took me 18 holes to figure out that bump and run probably wasn't the play out there 🤣

Man this is tough to listen to. You are really negative with your talking and talking to yourself. It’s no wonder you are posting high numbers. I would also if I heard myself saying all that negative talk.

Whenever playing Presidio you need to always make sure to bring some swing doctor and take a couple of puffs prior to starting your round. 🌲😚💨🌲🏌️♂️😊
