For all us DYI guys, we need a how to set up for all this 😂

great job, from one 1st timer to another. You have like double the pixel count than I do...(I didn't do a mega tree, just incase this didn't go well didn't want that sunk cost)
@DaytonaFrito5 күн бұрын
I don’t blame you. The mega tree cost was a big concern for me as well. It was the first thing I bought and I kinda figured that would be the only thing I had for the first year. Then as the year went I couldn’t help myself and continued to go deeper down the rabbit hole lol.

Damn, you did more in one year than I did in 3, congrats!

@@danielbuilds9595 lol thanks! I literally spent the whole year gathering materials, figuring things out, and learning all of the stuff required to make it work. Glad that I discovered pixels during last Christmas and it gave me a full year to prepare.

i just did my first year as well, but living in brazil, is hard to get the stuff. I bought a lot of things from wiredwatts, in my vacation trip to Orlando. I did a 2k pixels this year (1 megatree 180 degrees with 4 meters heigh 100 px per string 1,5 inch spacing (custom from holidaycoro) with 14 strings = 1400 pixels, 2 candy canes, 1 singing tree. And used some wled in my main stair. One controller only, the kulp32. I'm thinking how to grow next year, and i will need another controller e maybe 2 receivers. But my main question now is how do you plan to power inject? Using default 3 core xconnect or 2core? using power box (2 PSU or +) or only power inject from the same PSU? So that you dont have to separate de V+.

I think I’m going to buy another falcon controller to control the garage side of the house then add a large matrix across the 16x7 garage door along with more props. Haven’t really thought in too much detail about power injection yet. However, if I do power inject I plan to do it from the same power supply to simplify it and avoid any crossover voltage mishaps. I’ll probably only do any power injection using remote receivers primarily on high density props that I hope to add eventually. I don’t plan on running the show any brighter than 20% too so that helps me not need to rely on power injection. The remote receiver I have now I planned on using the 3 wire xconnect pigtails on a power distribution board with the data line not connected. I didn’t think about how much more difficult it would be to do this hobby living elsewhere! Hope you’re able to find what you need to grow your show! Sounds like you’re killing it though!

@DaytonaFrito thank you, love the ideia of use receivers with power inject in dense pixel area from the same psu. I have to buy everything from there, brazil taxes 100% of anything i buy there. So its like double the price. Lol brazil sucks

I wonder if you could feed some of your wires through the PVC to hide them and have better wire/cable management. I love the idea of using PVC to mount your pixel strips to. That just changed my whole idea/design on how to mount them and keep them straight. Using the PVC clamps is going to make it so much easier to install and uninstall for off season. I found the gutter clamps where did you find the other clamps are you using to screw into the wall?
@DaytonaFrito8 күн бұрын
@theslatonTeam I got the clamps for the PVC that I screwed into the wall from Holiday Coro. I’ve thought about trying to hide some of the wiring in the PVC. May try that once I get more controllers and won’t need to stretch my cables to the max for spacing props lol. Mounting pixels on frames of PVC is a game changer as far as install / remove go. Spend all that time upfront building them but huge time changer later on. Well worth it!

Can you share the links where you purchased your controlers
@DaytonaFrito4 күн бұрын
@@sambungay391 I may have misspoke in the video about getting the Falcon F16v4 ready to run from Wired Watts. Looks like I actually purchased that one from pixel controller. Here is the link to that. pixelcontroller.com/store/featured/77-70-f16v4rtr.html#/33-voltage-12v/36-pigtail_type-xconnect_falcon_hc As far as the Kulp 32 goes I did buy that from Wired Watts using the build a kit feature and selecting Kulp 32. Doing this you will just get materials and will have to build it unlike the ready to run kit from Pixel Controller. Here’s the link to Wired Watts build a kit. www.wiredwatts.com/back/c2x0z0e26d1h1txpwv12s64f0n0 Let me know if that helps! I’ll update the video description as well. Thanks for watching!

What megatree kit did you buy? Link please
@DaytonaFrito20 күн бұрын
When I ordered mine it was called the "Sasquatch Mega Tree 32 Pro"....looks like this link will take you to it. They show a 180 degree bottom loop in photo, but I assume it is still a 360 degree loop. I also updated the video description with links to this tree and other things. Hope that helps!
