You loose the digital in but you gain a cleaner Sound with SPL, you should hear it at low volume. the MTC is truly passive you dont need mains to control Volume. You should check if its the same with this smaler SPL, of course you need power fo the headphone / matrix.

Hi, I hope you can read this, as it's a late video. But if I was to buy one of these. Could I have my main monitors connected and a woofer connected to it separately but have them playing at the same time? Thanks

I don't use the Sub output but the manual says you can connect a sub to Output C, ...search for the manual online, its shown in there ;-)

Nice to see a fair and honest overview of these two items. I prefer the form factor of the Presonus because I have three pairs of monitors which means a lot of cable clutter on my desktop, and clutter does my head in!!! I currently use a Mackie Big Knob Mk1 which is great, but I like the idea of the remote on the Central Station. One cable to my desktop instead of….erm loads! Also there’s nothing else rack mountable at this price point, so CS Plus is definitely on my shopping list.

Thanks for watching, ..Thankfully my CS has been fine but if you do get one, make sure you get the newer version as I mentioned, the SPL is a good bit of kit , I still have both at the moment !.

I find with the cross over you get sound from one speaker only then when turn to 10 you get sound though both speakers is this normal ?
