Great series my brother I didn’t know a dam thang about my studio one daw I really appreciate the info ,pointers, n advice thank u very much I got a ? Tho I got the artist addition n since u can’t use no 3rd party plug ins what are the best drum kits I can get then?
@thatguyjaye82854 жыл бұрын
You won't be able to get the actual VST kits, but what I did was download a bunch of sample files to use with SampleOne. You can google "best free samples" and "How to use 3rd party samples with Studio One"

Good work! This stuff can be applied to any DAW. I’ve stopped dumping my stuff into Studio One and just mix in Maschine.

Another great tutorial.....I know this question is no on the same topic of the video but didnt know where to ask it really. What would be my best outlet to showcase tracks without getting jacked...what would you recommend if i dont want to have to copyright every single track i put on my website or youtube or soundcloud? Basically best way to protect your content online in your opinion...

Thank you for breaking this down. It helped me so much as a producer and a artist.
@xanderrebut17278 жыл бұрын
thx for yet another great tutorial! You've helped me so much with these videos. I just have a bit of a problem with my kick. When I turn the release nob down, it seems to cut my kick with a click. If you have a solution to this problem I'd love to hear it. I'm using a kick from the Oracle volume 3 kit if it's important to know. PS: I'm still a beginner so I'm sorry if I'm asking a stupid question. Thx again for the tutorial!

Hello, So Im new at the mixing game and also an amateur using Studio One. I've just started using it this year. I want to ask you about the drum and band bus. What would you use them for? I mainly use Impact XT for my drums and separate the components into diferent tracks and then EQ or Compress each part of the drums separately. I also do this with the diferent instrument VSTs.
@Craftmaster35 жыл бұрын
Gaby Music Experience gain structure, and organization
@dilianmodebeatspr5 жыл бұрын
Craftmaster Productions tha ks for replying. So basically i should use the drum bus channel for compressors and stuff not the individual components of the drums?
@Craftmaster35 жыл бұрын
Gaby Music Experience that's not what I said lol
@dilianmodebeatspr5 жыл бұрын
Craftmaster Productions True. I need to figure out what you mean by gain structures.
@BossDonTwon8 жыл бұрын
Can you upload a video showing how to place hooks in studio one?
@Craftmaster38 жыл бұрын
what do you mean?
@BossDonTwon8 жыл бұрын
How would I copy and paste the chorus in a rap song instead of doing it over
@Craftmaster38 жыл бұрын
Antoine you just need to find the bpm of your track and then copy and past your hook where you want it. Once you have the best matched to the grid you can rearrange hooks, verses, whatever, and it will be perfectly on beat
@cyberk97 жыл бұрын

After implementing the strategy i came out with a great mix and master Zebra, but what about maximizing the full mix of the 808? You didn't get back to that part from 8:30. I adjusted the knob after I completed the steps also. Do I add an insert effect for best results without distorting the master?
@Craftmaster37 жыл бұрын
Cortney Warren when you run the track through your mastering chain the 808 comes out

I have a question on chords part when putting together, I cop down everything in templates so when I'm making a melody or chords one is way louder then the other to here other one will I use the gain to turn down in instruments or will that mess it up for putting gain at certain level for the rest like when u say put all at 16 so get master at 6 or can I just mess with the gain for each instrument s n leave rest at 16
@Craftmaster36 жыл бұрын
riccy bulltail jr. yes
@300avenue6 жыл бұрын
Craftmaster Productions ok so after I turn it down to here other instrument when I go to mix will I reset all sounds back to 16 in the gain n go from there

Craftmaster Productions thank you g. One last question tho, why do you have the mixtool at -10 db already and turn it down to -16 in order to get to -6db? Wouldn't you set it at -6?

Rex Rathbun ur overthinking things bro just get ur final level down to -6 without using the faders
