Great news. Hopefully he is here for a long long time

Being a Gopher fan living in Hawkeye county, I'm very pleased to see that P.J. Fleck is staying at Minnesota. When he talks about cultural sustainability, it's what I see at the University of Iowa. Since 1979, the Hawkeyes have had only two head coaches, Hayden Fry and Kirk Ferentz. Fry was Iowa's head coach until retiring in 1998, Ferentz has been there ever since, and I expect that he, too, will remain at Iowa until he retires from coaching. I really hope that P.J. remains at Minnesota until he retires from coaching, hopefully many, many contract extensions from now! (I wasn't so sure after the Bowling Green game)

Minnesota FINALLY has a coach that we can be proud of.

already 6-2 this year and sole position of the first place in big ten west! Never thought I'd see Minnesota become a potential power, Fleck deserves the extension and it helps build a foundation for future recruits

Should help recruiting. Knowing he will be around for a little longer.

So proud & thankful to have him as our coach! He's made Gopher football a blast to watch again. Win or lose, we're competitive & that's what really counts! 🏈〽️💛🏆

I have a friend that is a very much in the know big booster at USC that said there was a full court press for Fleck. Makes sense this happened. Not a fan of either team but I do like Fleck and I am glad he stayed.

This is home, indeed Coach. Now for the love of Christ BEAT IOWA. BEAT WISCONSIN.

For the love of Chryst you mean! Gonna need more than 7 years to sustain beating the Badgers regularly. Though I will say keeping him around longer is smart move on Minnesota s part.

@@rileys8475 this years game for the West at our place should be a nice place to start. Here’s hoping we stay ranked in the high 20s and no one pays us any mind until it’s too late.

Sure he is a good football coach but the biggest thing this guy is doing is giving these kids the mindset on being successful in life outside of football. When you see talented players losing their career over non sport issues because they have no life skills it really is a sad situation

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life." Respect Love is the misplaced Cornerstone in a rational world. The Rational Mind, is a mind swept clean by rationalizations. Meanwhile at the same time, it tries to ignore the demons in its irrational subconscious mind. Matthew 12:43 “When an impure spirit comes out of a person, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. 45 Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”

Now if you are saying that Life is an unrepeatable science experiment. I am with you, but I am not the Way. Nobody should want to bust their head through the veil with righteous anger, that feels like riding a train through a brick wall. And righteous anger takes an understanding of Truth that takes years to develop from ones own individual experience. Beside after I busted through the wall I have been basically told to sit on the sideline and watch the show the Holy Spirit is putting on. Good Luck Coach. Psalm 110:1 Psalm 110 Of David. A psalm. The Lord says to my lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”

It's like any other city the last 18 months, it's really bad in a few spots. Overall the metro area is really nice, provided you don't have to live in one of those bad spots, I feel awful for those folks. Glad to see they voted down question 2, that would have been a mistake without a viable backup plan in place.

The Twin Cities are one of the nicest/best places to live/raise a family in the country. Also, buy "best city across the river" I am pretty sure he meant St. Paul. ;)
