the instructions are incomplete; what happens if there is a mismatch? what happens if someone else starts pressing the button? what happens if some mismatches are explained away (say by saying that the battery is down or that is a machine error or something equally intangible)? 99% of the times there will be no problem; clear instructions are needed when there is a confusion. if the ballot unit or the vvpat was changed halfway during the polls? oral explanations should not be accepted.

वोटों की गिनती के दौरान विशेष रूप से मतदान एजेंटों के लिए संक्षेप में महत्वपूर्ण बिंदु 1. पोलिंग एजेंटों/राजनीतिक दलों के प्रतिनिधियों को फॉर्म 17 ग की एक प्रति अपने पास रखनी चाहिए, जो मतदान बंद होने और सभी इकाइयों यानी नियंत्रण इकाई, मतपत्र इकाई और वीवीपीएटी इकाई को सील करने के बाद पीठासीन अधिकारी द्वारा सौंपी गई थी। . 2. उन्हें सभी पेपर सील यानी गुलाबी पेपर सील, हरे पेपर सील और एड्रेस टैग पर मुहरों और उनके हस्ताक्षरों के साथ छेड़छाड़ की जांच करनी चाहिए। इसके अलावा, उन कोड संख्याओं की भी जांच की जानी चाहिए जो मतदान के समय उनके साथ साझा किए गए हैं। 3. मतदान केंद्रों पर जब मतदान एजेंटों के सामने मतदान बंद हो जाता है, तो उन्हें न केवल डाले गए वोटों की कुल संख्या दिखाई जाती है, बल्कि फॉर्म 17 ग के माध्यम से डाले गए वोटों का विवरण भी साझा किया जाता है। जब नियंत्रण इकाई के टोटल बटन को गिनती के मेज पर दबाया जाता है इसे फॉर्म 17 ग पर घोषित वोटों की संख्या से मेल खाना चाहिए।

Sir, nice information. I want to add some few points for counting agent. 1. As per form no. 17 C , tally the total votes polled and total vies in control unit. 2. Check the green paper seal sr. no. used by presiding officer for control unit and provided in form 17 C. 3. serial no. of Control Unit printed on CU and provided in Form no. 17 C 4. Sr. No. Printed on VVPAT and provided in FOrm 17C by PO. 5. Match the Signature of a Prisiding officer appended on green paper seal of CU and VVPAT with form 17C
