We scored 4 in 1 half at Ibrox albeit 1 had a foul in build up it still shows that we can get at them if we attack. We have had 3 goals chopped off, scored an OG, conceded 2 penalties and had 2 men sent off in 4 derbies already this season surely we are due a change in fortune especially away from Celtic Park. He may get asked for some opinion, but he just coaches them and I read a piece online a while back that he doesn't really care or have a preference for personel really in terms of signings. He just coaches and picks and works, from what he is given. So what we have to hope is, that Koppen does a good job there and gets us a better level and is shrewd and controls the recruitment team in making sure the signings we get are robust. It has to be the end of signing guys with prior injury patterns, like Sima, Sputter, Ridvan and Dowell recently, but also a list as long as your arm exists of these types all the way back to Gerrard and Rossiter. I want to see Clement do well next season with a new defence, completely rid of the old guard.

Massive game, a win means the manager can go into the summer with a cup double and a 1st OF win under his belt and focus on trying to shape his squad with a full pre-season... on the flip side, he loses this then the pressure is cranked up another notch on him, losing the league and cup to Celtic and failing to beat them in 4 attempts, couple dodgy results at the start of next season, being unseeded in CL qualifiers and knowing we have to go to Celtic Park in the 1st OF of the season makes it very very tricky for him without the credit of winning this game in the bank.

Looks like he’s going to risk Sima and a few others. I think he needs to change a few things. Personally, Without the ball, I’d have dressers drop deep to stop McGregor and have three in midfield (I’d go Sterling, Jack Diomante) against Hatate and O’Reilly which means Sterling could be freed up to help Tavernier Against Daizen or on the other side help deal with Forrest. After that, win your individual battles and I don’t think it’s beyond a Rangers victory. Of course, an individual error or ludicrous red card can scupper all that and you have to take your chances. Silva needs to focus on putting the ball in the net and not look to go down. He’d score a lot more if he did.

I respect its the managers decision who starts. However only a mug would start Lundstram in my view, and if he does as it sounds like he will then Clement is a total mug. We might not see trainings, and know them personally but we have eyes and he has been rotten at the business end of the season cuminating in a horror show that killed our title bid. So Clement can pick who he wants, if he is right and we win, I will eat humble pie and apologise for doubting him. If he picks him and we lose then he better be prepared for the wrath that comes from alot of our support. I hope Phils story goes well this weekend. 🙏
