Press Conference - Reconnecting Communities Divided by US 71

In June 2024, the Mayor and City Council approved the contract with HG Consult to begin studying the 71 Highway corridor, conduct public outreach efforts, develop potential solutions, and chart a course forward for a safer, more connected, and more equitable community utilizing the $5 million Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant funds awarded by the U.S. Department of Transportation.
