Really liking where this project is going. However, not so sure about the title.

This is pretty good, but I have some constructive criticism. I think the track is too low energy and strays a bit far from the original composition. I think even more emphasis on guitar like a Sonic Adventure track would make it work better, as Jun's compositions are right at home there, and the guitar present definitely needs to be louder as it feels too quiet. Some parts sound almost dissonant when instruments overlap, it just sounds off to me. It needs to be more intense, like grungier and metallic, the original despite just having the shitty Sonic 4 instruments ironically kept this vibe and it worked well. Also the midi trumpet sound starting at around a minute in is eh to me, I would change it, but that's just me. But overall this is good, I don't want to sound rude or nitpicky, I just wanted to give some feedback and help if possible, I plan on playing this mod and want the music to all be the best it can be so I figured I'd point out anything I noticed. Sorry lol.

I think the trumpet would blend more if it wasn't SO standout. I think adding a Sonic Adventure-esque rhythm guitar throughout the whole song would help with that.

Even as someone who unironically likes Sonic 4, I fully understand people's issues with the inconsistency of Superstars' OST, mainly Jun's tracks. I personally have no problems with the soundtrack, but these remixes to better unify the experience with the music is something I can enjoy as well.

I really enjoy the OST of both episodes of Sonic 4 on their entirety But even so, I still think that it is really out of place in Superstars, it also makes the OST really inconsistent, in Sonic 4 none of the tracks felt like that because all of them were made equally, they were all very simillar

While I do like the music here, the instrumentation really misses a lot of the grittiness of the original. While the instruments used there weren’t exactly the most pleasant, they were stingy and it fit the zone very well. Very much stuck out as a “dirty smogged up factory”. The instruments here don’t line up with the zone particularly well and misses the mood. Part of the problem here could be solved by making the guitar louder, but also things like the trumpet in the second half don’t fit the song that much. Sorry for the rambling, Press Factory Act 1 was one of my favorite compositions in the original game and so I just wanted to give some constructive feedback for the final version of the track in the mod. Great job on the remix nonetheless.

Curious about something, are y’all gonna do a remix of Sky Temple zone? It’s kind of a weird one in that it uses more than just the Sonic 4 synths and in general sounds fantastic, but still uses that Sonic 1 snare.
