I have the Apres Gel X sculpted long coffin tips and instead of measuring like that I measured by placing the nail tip on a notepad and pressed down on it by the apex and measured the widest parts of the tip because i found that method to be inaccurate by measuring through the top since the apex gives it more length and was inaccurate when i referred to my nail sizes although this was helpful just another suggestion bc some people like myself have more of a flatter nail beds and the Gel X sculpted nails have a higher apex & doing it my way has been most accurate for me because all these nail sizing charts are wayyyy off for myself and the Apres tips

Hey! If customers are going to measure their own nail beds, what is the point of the XS, S, M & L sizes? That’s the part that confuses me. LOL

Usually sites have the sizes listed and they can choose their size by looking at the length size . So they know what size to order.

Hey Deja, I had a question about the size chart. If you use more than one brand of nails, do you have to make a different size chart for each brand for your customers since the nails have different measurements? Or do you just use one size chart for all nails?

Hey my love, You don’t really want the customer to HAVE to file the Nail because it can damage the gel polish. If it’s big by CHANCE then the customer can file the nail to fit their nail bed❤️

Do I Make as ordered after getting the customers size? Or do I sell a full set from 00 - 10?? Some of my art work is displayed across the Nails where each nails art continues into the next, so if I got an order for specific nail sizes for that specific kind, the art may look silly....does that make sense?? Jo Marie I only had 2 supporters- my mom and my cousin... my own husband did not like the idea and so many did not understand what the hell I was talking about lol- fast forward 4 months after starting I had made my first $1,000 in sales and now fast forward 6 months later I’m at 4K on Instagram, 2K on KZbin and over $3,000 in sales. My point is, if I would of listened to everyone I would of still been saying “I should of started”

Hello I’m just starting out and I ordered different tips like stiletto and coffin but when I emailed the website for the mm size in each and they gave me difference mm for each style. For example a stiletto size 0 was 18 mm and my coffin size 0 was 17mm. Idk what to do as the general chart i have looked up starts from 18 mm. Any advice would be great

Yes still count. There is small, medium, big lines. Small line = 1 mm, Medium every 5 mm, big every 10 mm to help you count.

Is the spacing that happens between the nail bed and press on normal? The edges lay flat for me but there’s spacing in the middle since I have flatter nail beds.

Rebecca Francois i definitely recommend to try a different brand or when applying glue to press down firmly for a few seconds. Having a gap can cause bacteria to get in between the press on and your nails and cause fungus!

Hello, what’s the earliest you can make ready to ship press on orders before shipping? Can you make the press on a month or two in advance and not worry about the product being damaged?

Empress Rakeda I don’t suggest to keep stock and the reason is because depending on what top coat your using it can turn yellow and if your adding bling to nails the glue can turn yellow after sitting for a long period of time. Also, if someone has a custom size you’ll have to remake the set anyway and then you have to think about supplies- I don’t like to keep stock because you never really know what’s going to sell
