Im just curious...No teflon sheet needed?? Your polyester items were also pressed at 308, and no discoloration was left on the garment?
@RhyBeats Жыл бұрын
The press has a Teflon sheet underneath . The hoodies has 50/50, I thought it was 100% poly

Damn that new press is bad ass bro. It’s cool to finally see it in action. I like that it’s not fully pneumatic as well, I feel like the full auto ones switch sides to quick and make you rush to get your garment and transfer placed properly. I never used one so I’m probably wrong, but from what I seen that’s my takeaway. Anyways great video as always man!
@RhyBeats Жыл бұрын
I agree with the full auto ones, but I wonder if there’s a timer to switch over 🤔
@Halfbreed222 Жыл бұрын
@@RhyBeats I wouldn’t doubt it! That would be pretty cool to be able to change how fast or slow it switches sides.

What's up Rhy? I've heard good things on the durability of DTF prints. What's your opinion? I just don't fully trust transfers yet...haha...and are you still screenprinting?
@RhyBeats Жыл бұрын
Yo-yo!! DTF transfers are your best bet. If applied correctly, they should last 30-40 washes. You gotta get some samples To test . And yes, I’m still screen printing… for now 😂
@technodrone772310 ай бұрын
@@RhyBeats30-40 washes? That’s extremely low. Quality Dtf transfers should last the life of the garment. I have dtf prints that are 3 years old that still look great. Washed and dried on high heat well over 100 times.

I don't really see the need for automatic press. Unless you are old and body just can't keep up...I would rock 2 manual press over the automatic press u have..u still need to move press side to side manually.. Pushing press down takes 1 second. So I just don't see what ever u saw to buy automatic press..
@BreakthroughInk Жыл бұрын
Obviously you have never pressed over 1,000 piece order. Don’t hate, congratulate!
@RhyBeats Жыл бұрын
Well I was already looking to buy a new press. But YES you can rock 2 manual presses . But even a decent HPN 16x20 press is $900ea, $1800 for both. Just another $400 you’ll get a better press. But it’s the same as manual screen printing, it doesn’t matter your “age or body” condition.. you will get fatigued. Buying this press IS a personal presence and also I’m showing this just to let everyone know that there are better equipment out there than the “ hottronix” AGAIN … it’s PERSONAL preference.

@@BreakthroughInk boy it's not about hate but common sense...hate lol if that's how u see it...I prefer screen printing over transfers all day..just did 350 sweatshirts 3 logo front and back..and I heat pressed all of those front and back 700 sweatshirts..u ain't on my level kid..I give dope work and put more into my work for customers..I don't need to heat press ..I do it cause it gives a better look and feel.....you keep doing your transfers...and I will keep making my customers happy..transfer are wack..or convenient depending on your work order....

@@kingofclosets4070 I do prefer screen printing, As that’s my go to. But, I feel that any business should embrace new technologies and printing methods .. but that’s my personal preference. That’s great that you can put up those kinds of numbers screen printing, but it doesn’t mean that’s only way of decorating a garment. Again, whatever you prefer on printing and decorating and works with your business model, I’m all for it. But you made it sound like printing methods outside of screen printing is wrong, in which I do not agree. But again keep doing you and keep crushing it.
