Ladies, This was a very hard Thanksgiving, My wife Mary Lynn passed away on the 24th November at age of 56 years old. The doctors said it was from the infection ,it had gotten into her lungs and Leukemia is what she had. Please keep us in your Prayers, God Bless Y'all .

I stumbled across John Ward’s channel today and am now even more heartsick than I was before over the situation surrounding the devastation in North Carolina and Tennessee.

John is my cousin and he’s the most humble person you’ll ever know. Even though we live in a part of East Tennessee that wasn’t affected by Helene he has been there doing everything he possibly can to help and let others know just how tragic and devastating this area and it’s people have been affected. No one should be living in tents with these freezing temperatures. North Carolinas government should be ashamed of how their people have been treated and FEMA is a joke. These people need housing and the federal government hasn’t done anything to help these people.

I'm thankful for so much. Thank you for sharing your perspective, Corie. I didn't sleep well due to thinking about hubby's health. It helps simply to be thankful for him and how many wonderful years we've had together. Thankful for God, family and friends, a roof over our heads, warmth and comfort, food on our table, clean water, clean air we can easily breathe in, health, beauty of creation, etc.

Happy thanks given i realy enjoyed the video all the wonderful food being prepared. Being thankful and kind that goes a long way. And I pray for the ones of the hurricane disaster l pray that God will provide for them for a wonderful thanks given and a dry place to enjoy it. Pray for a precious baby girl that was born to parent that was addicted to drugs. This little angel is a fighter, she is doing good, and has been adopted to her new parents that wanted a baby so bad and could not have their own. She is loved beyond measure!❤❤

I loved hearing the little children in the background. I'm praying that Ira will outgrow his food allergies, and I know what it is like as I had issues with my son for his early years. We managed and he did grow out of it. So loving and special that Corie mixes up recipes that will help. Matt and Tipper also work so hard to get food on the table. So special.

I watched this video kinda reminiscing about growing up and only wishing my family could've been like yours but most every time we got together it was bickering, arguing, casual cussing conversation, I really hated getting together for holidays because I knew it could/should be a time of loving one another and giving thanks to our Lord and Savior but that's all in the past and I try now only to remember the goods times we had together even if they were far and few in between. I wash dry she's as I cook but main things goes into the dishwasher . my kitchen is small so I gotta clean as I cook to make room lol ... Im sure y'all had a great blessed Thanksgiving 💞 . We here in Yancey County cooked and supplies for each other , They gave Thanks meals out on our town square as well . We were so very blessed and thankful not just on that day but everyday . Girl your pumpkin roll looks fantastic . mine fell all apart ,looked as if a chicken scratched in it haha ,but it tasted good !

Thank you for sharing some holiday happy and family many don't have. It is really sad that our government (both state and local) treat citizens as adversaries in times of disaster instead of tax paying members of society that deserve 100% of any kind of assistance they can get. My hands are so dry too... I have started adding a couple of tablespoons of olive oil to my bath water this week. Everything is dry, but is starting to get better. Have to wash my tub, with gloves, but it is worth it!

I am from Georgia, and we do not use boiled eggs in our dressing because we put eggs in the cornbread. When we make it, and we always add chopped onions to our dressing. As well interesting to see how people do it so differently.

Everything looks so good! 😋 Simple Mills, who makes those muffins, makes good GF almond flour crackers.
