@@latarshahall7618 Basically, the Khan Maykr wanted to prevent her people's fall into Transfiguration, which is supposed to be part of the process of making new Maykrs except that the Father isn't there to make new Maykrs. So she made a deal with Hell in order to try to stave this off by means of using Hell's energy (made from the suffering of Hell's victims) to sustain themselves in a grander-scale version of the situation on earth in the original Doom 2016. The price of this deal was the condemnation of other worlds to be devoured and destroyed by the forces of Hell. Earth was just the latest such "sacrifice" that the Khan Maykr was making to the demons. And the Slayer isn't having this shit.

Actually, the thing that the Doom Slayer left behind was his grief for the deaths of his rabbit, Daisy, his wife, and his son.
